Loved the sandwich and all the options they give to customize. They had Avocado and banana peppers! Only thing I would change is the type of bread I got. Not sure if they have a sub type of bread instead if loaf. Regardless I demolished my sandwich even though it was falling apart towards the end. Total bill was around $17 dollars including drink and all the customizations I got.

Absolutely loved it! The Sandwich Spot is definitely a 10/10 they have a big variety on the sandwiches mind you they will give you options to add or remove anything from the sandwich and make it your own. We tried the Dutch Crunch bread Absolutely Amazing!! If you love a soft bread with a crunchy exterior the Dutch crunch is the way to go!

THEY DON’T WEAR GLOVES to make sandwiches. It was my first time going to the Sandwich Shop I found it online. It looked like a cool local sandwich shop that I would continue to go to if their sandwiches were good. I ordered 2 meatball sandwiches and for myself a ham sandwich to go. I didn’t realize they don’t wear gloves for about 10 minutes until I moved to another side of the counter. Because you can’t see from the dine in tables there hands making sandwiches. After I realized they don’t wear gloves I went up to the girl that took my order and asked about them not wearing gloves. She said they don’t have to wear gloves because they wash there hands. I explained to her that I have a germ phobia and she said they could make my ham sandwich with gloves. Then the Manager came to me and said my sandwich was already made and I would have to buy another one. He said nobody else has a problem of them not wearing gloves because they was wash their hands. I’m sorry but I don’t want anyone’s fingers with nails making me a sandwich by putting lettuce and pickles and etc on it without having gloves. I mean I live here in L A County just recently we were able to stop wearing masks. I spent $45.02 for 3 sandwiches including a tip of $5.86 and he wouldn’t make me another sandwich. I really think people don’t see that they don’t wear gloves and that’s why they haven’t said anything. I left with the 2 meatball sandwiches and said I would be writing a review. I won’t go back they can keep my ham sandwich that I paid $10.75. I hope this negative review was worth it.

I’m not exaggerating when I say, that I will literally wait to come all the way from Colorado to visit Steve and his crew, to have his culinary monster masterpieces. The sandwiches are absolutely like no other place I’ve been, anywhere. They say it’s the ingredients and the dutch crunch bread, but I say it’s because the people that they are and the experience they create. Everyone is family when you walk in that door (both in Simi Valley and Newbury Park). Yes, ofcourse the sandwich is more than worth the visit. Like I said, the sandos are like nothing else. Make sure you get extra “bomb sauce”….you’re welcome, future culinary traveler.

The place looks nice and food was good. The only issue was the people making the food were not wearing gloves and either moving their hair out of the way, at the register handling money and then immediately back to prepping food. I would come back but I wish they would be more careful

They have a huge menu and wonderful, creative sandwiches on fresh, delicious bread. It took several minutes to decide what to order, so many choices, and everything sounded good! I had the “Marsha Marsha Marsha” (love the Brady Bunch reference), on sourdough! It had turkey, avocado and cream cheese with all the fixings, was enormous, and a messy fabulous sandwich. It was way too big to eat in one sitting, so I took the other half home for lunch the next day!
