Staff was friendly and accommodating. The menu fair priced as I questioned seafood freshness in an otherwise distant from water area. The fried rice was different than I’ve ever had, as it was crunchy and not at all what I expected. The scallop dish seemed a fair price for tasty well cooked scallops. With the scallops came a copious amount of water chestnuts, which greatly detract from the delicate scallops. It was an unfortunate pairing with fried rice and the scallop dish where neither truly impressed. The dishes were beautifully prepared ascetically, but unfortunately lacked in taste and overall mouth pleasure.

The best place for authentic Korean and Chinese food in Xenia. I highly recommend their Hot & Sour Soup, Crab Angles, and pretty much any of their lunch specials. They have a small but unique section of Korean food on their menu as well since the owner is ethnically Korean. The Korean ribs are fantastic. Very friendly family owned restaurant with a carryout window and generous portions. Beer on tap as well.

Best Chinese Food anywhere!! Hot & Sour soup is amazing, not water down. Egg Rolls are huge hot & fresh. Pam the waitress is always friendly!! I am never disappointed. The only thing that would make Xenia China Inn better is if they had a 2nd restaurant in Dayton.

I have not been here to dine in over 7 years but it was just as good as I remember. Truly a hidden gem within Xenia. The restaurant has a large parking lot and it is right next to the bike path. Within the restaurant there is a little bar offering two beers on tap and a large dining area. An open setting with tasteful decor, kind wait staff and not to mention, delicious and authentic Chinese food. Lunch and dinner options are readily available on their menu. Do come in if you never have, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

This is my favorite restaurant in so many ways I don’t know where to begin. First off the staff are incredible. Pam is friendly and always takes care of the little touches that make you feel at home and welcome. The service is quick, the ambiance is quiet and warm and the price is right. Every time I’ve gone there, I’ve ordered something different – and all the food is excellent.

I had never been to Xenia China Inn before. My coworker suggested it for lunch one day and I decided to be adventurous. When our waitress Pam took our order, I knew I was in for a treat. Her service was amazing. Egg drop soup, which I had never heard of, was excellent. It was rich and creamy, and has now become one of my favorite soups. Following that was an order of Pepper steak. The meat was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and came with white rice. It was exactly what I had in mind, and definitely hit the spot. I’ll definitely be returning and tipping heavily!

Just got home from dinner, food was great, service was amazing. Pam was our waitress and she was very attentive to our order and checked on us regularly. The pot stickers were our favorite. (Pam went out of her way, and brought us different sauces to try with them) I loved my sweet and sour chicken (again, Pam brought me extra sauce that I asked for) and hubby said the shrimp was good. Recommend.

Fresh, delicious food and incredibly friendly service. I was really impressed! We had the potstickers and beef skewers for appetizers, and the Mongolian beef and orange chicken as entrees. It was served with THE BEST egg drop soup I’ve ever had. It was glorious. It’s a little tucked away and unassuming, but definitely give it a try. A hidden gem!

Aaron made sure that the socially distanced Baby Shower I was having for my daughter-in-law and son had the best lunch I could serve! I called him for suggestions. He advised and assured me that it would be a great meal. It was ready for pickup at the agreed time and the food was delicious! We had Sesame Chicken, Orange Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Mongolian Beef, white and fried rice and Crab Angles. Guests were impressed with the meal (many asking for seconds) and wanting to know what restaurant so they could go there. Aaron came through as I knew he would. We have been going to Xenia China Inn for over 27 years and have never been disappointed with our meals. Aaron and staff make sure their guests are taken care of and treat them like family. We always look for their booth at festivals where they sell their Bourbon Chicken, which is also delicious. Thank you so much Aaron and Staff. We appreciate you so much.

Best thing about this place is the waitress, Pam. We were there in December and she recommended a dish that was dynamite. There again today and we were lucky enough to have her again. 3 months later and she remembered us! First wow!! She again took the time to listen to what we like and gave another tasty recommendation. I think the place would be lost without her! She’s SUPER sweet and knows her menu items. You cannot find wait staff like her everywhere. She gave us time to enjoy but didn’t abandon us. Everything was perfect. Food was delicious, fresh and hot. Sake was good too. One of two places in Xenia with good wait staff. The other isn’t Acapulco… Ways to improve… Parking. Felt like I had to park in the back 9 and dodged HUGE potholes in and out.
