Came here after a science meeting nearby. Since we ate at the meeting, we were only ordering drinks. We sat together at a high top, and the bartender was top notch. She was very attentive and kept up with our drinks if they were empty. Great service and she didn’t seem bothered at all that we were just ordering drinks.

I’ve been coming here way two times a week and it’s worth the drive. I spot a new sushi chef at the sushi bar today. He has a really nice smile, with big brown eyes. I just feel all the tingles . Enough of the cute sushi chef. But today, the food was phenomenal like usual, sushi was well presented with immaculate details, the waitresses were so kind and friendly ! The atmosphere is like a chill vibe with a neon sea theme. I don’t care what anyone says, but Blu sushi is the best!

While I love this location I was extremely disappointed in the experience today! There was a bone in my sashimi and the tuna was warm. The sushi chef tried arguing with me that bones were okay. What the .. there also was a guy in the back just staring at me while I was sitting at the sushi bar. If not at me then just staring which was very uneasy to eat watching the worker from the back staring and just standing there looking. The waitress wasn’t around even though the restaurant was empty to suggest a wine refill too. Oh she finally came around when I was done eating though to ask if I needed a refill. At that time I said no because I was done. I would’ve ordered more if the experience was better. Wow such a disappointment!!

Friendly staff great food! It’s all you can eat before 2pm 19.99 or luncheon specials 14.95. I usually have Salad with Ginger Dressing, Clear Soup with Mushrooms, Salmon Sushi and a cooked dish called Lava Drops. They have a good variety of sushi rolls to pick from also! You get to pick two things at a time.

I went with my girls on a Saturday night and we were amazed by how the sushi was well presented. We were a complicated bunch, but they made it without any complaints. So we thank you for that. You can all say we are Karen’s but modern Karen’s that don’t sassed talk just indecisive . One of my girls was recently divorced so she was eyeing on a tall, young man with nice brown eyes and smile at the sushi bar and wanted to order more and more but it was close to the time they were closing. I apologize on my behalf for her, haha. Too many drinks, the drinks they make by the lady bartender!! She is good!! Those drinks have the perfect proportions. Not too strong but strong and not too sweet but slightly. We had bad experiences at the location in gulfcoast long , time ago and the one in downtown too. But this location, what most reviews say is true. By far the best!!!

Went in for jalapeño poppers, order was incorrect, went following day for refund and same order, manager from the day before gave a gift card. Gift card was only for $12.00 and 72 cents was owed. I let the manager on duty (a different one) know this was a refund to my previous order from the day before, she was SO RUDE and even raised her voice at me. Kept saying how I had to pay the 72 cents or she wouldn’t be able to give me my food.
