Great find! We were in the area on a Saturday afternoon, found Lou’s Deli with good reviews and headed straight over. We were greeted and welcomed up to the counter and shown the menu and also how we could build our own sandwiches. Hubby and I each had The Paulie which was delicious – pesto and balsalmic were amazing and the bread was perfect! We also shared a Cobb salad (it was gorgeous and fresh- sorry no pic – it went too fast!).

Lou’s always hits, never misses !! Have been many times since they’ve opened, and they consistently serve elite sandwiches of generous portions with quality ingredients and structure. Fantastic ambiance and staff as well. Have loved every menu item I’ve tried but the Spicy Italian is SPECIAL (pictured)

DELICIOUS beef dip sandwich. The Au jus had so much flavor that translated beautifully into the flavor of the meat which was cooked perfectly. The bread was fresh and toasted to perfection and the service was super friendly, efficient, and the atmosphere clean and inviting. Definitely will be back the next time I’m in the area!

Really delicious sandwiches with fresh ingredients. Lots of meat and toppings and nice bread. The sub juice (basically a red wine vinaigrette type dressing) complements the sandwiches well. Good smoothies as well. Also a good selection of condiments, especially hot sauces. I also tried the macaroni salad, and liked the tangy taste and creamy but not gloppy consistency.

Incredible sandwiches! Plus I somehow slipped my wedding ring off and lost it. Realizing about half an hour later came in retracing my steps and Andy along with the entire staff helped me out… eventually finding it in a trash can (I had accidentally slipped it off my finger when washing my hands and threw it away!). So a huge thank you to Andy!! Highly recommend Lous Deli!

Ah these people are just amazing, this is mine and my dads to go spot when we just want a sandwich, the ambient is great everyone is sooo nice and the sandwiches are to die for!! My dad and I are extremely picky and they accommodate us, they also memorized both of our orders!! They are just amazing!!

EDIT AFTER CONTACT FROM MANAGEMENT. quoted is the original review. “Don’t get the Italian if you like real Italian subs. They used pickled jalapeños and called them “Hots”, other stuff is good but I judge based on Italian subs.” They contacted me and said they changed the menu to say they changed Hots to Jalapeño.. to that I say jalapeños don’t go on an Italian. But also to each their own. Italian subs have Italian peppers in my book.. sorry Not sorry.

On lunch break from the nearby Lowell courthouse, a court officer suggested Lou’s so I gave it a try. Got a special of the day sandwich, the Back Central Beef…OUTSTANDING. If you are in the area such as serving as a juror and need lunch, stop by. Staff was super friendly (Pat took my order, good guy), place was clean…next time I get summoned for juror service at least I’ll know I can swing by Lou’s for lunch!
