The brunch menu is completely different than the dinner menu. We came to eat a late lunch on the weekend (~2pm) and they were still only serving brunch. It was still good, just different than what we had originally thought.

Oh oh olio!!! What a fantastic meal. The 4 of us ordered different entrees and each one was delicious. Yes I sampled the other three. I had to. I highly recommend this place, you will have a wonderful meal. One. Ire to the owners. I would strongly recommend changing the lighting (do some nice softer lighting) and add a few noise reducing pads to the ceiling.

After having been in Stamford for what I experience as a lifetime, I only recently discovered Olio and I can say without hesitation (and as someone who most often times can’t justify spending on restaurants given I’m usually left with the sense that I’d have been able to make the dish in a way I much prefer) that the food at Olio is far and away some of the best—if not THE best (both in quality of ingredients and flavor profiles)—I’ve experienced in Stamford. The food is consistently delicious and chef changes up the menu seasonally. Highly, highly, highly recommended for any and every food lover. Did I mention that I highly recommend? [Country fried pork belly and black soy miso duck wings are can’t miss/must tries (in my humble opinion)]

Went with a large group and everyone enjoyed the food but I definitely don’t recommend the duck. It was obviously just thrown in a deep fryer and not seared and confit like the menu says. If you aren’t going to cook it properly just take it off the menu

Came here with 3 dishes in mind… arrive and get a special menu.. none of my 3 dishes are available. Chose 3 more things from the specials. All out of stock… not even the veer they recommended was in stock… got a couple other random things cause everything else was closed already. The food they DID have was solid at least.

Absolutely LOVE this place! This is my second time here and everything was as delicious as the first time. The food and drinks are outstanding & the staff is very welcoming and polite. You must try Mayte’s Margarita and the Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna. For sure one of my favorite places in Stamford! I will be returning very soon 🙂
