We were so pleased to find this place!! We recently moved to the area and are finding there just really aren’t many good restaurants (without having to go into Tampa). We found the food to have a very authentic, homey quality to it which was very satisfying. They also have traditional ready-made foods like croquettes, empanadas, guava pastries and more.

What a wonderful staff at Cafe Cuba Valrico! Every time I walk in I’m greeted by such sweet employees. The atmosphere is amazing I feel at home. I always get the sausage, egg, and cheese Cuban breakfast sandwich. Definitely give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

Damaris and Andris are friendly people who run a quick, clean establishment with good Cuban and Dominican food. I’ve been going here since they took over ownership and as far as I’m concerned things have only improved. Their catering is also excellent.

LISTEN!!! This place is amazing! That’s all you need to know!! The food tastes authentic, and is fresh and delicious! Also great portion. The young lady that helped me was so kind. (Sorry, I didn’t get her name…she wears glasses though.) I went in for a breakfast sandwich, which I did get, however after seeing everything I ended up also getting something for later (rice, beans, plantains, and pork AND a papa rellena) I usually get black beans but they had pinto and garbanzo, so I tried the pintos. Everything looked so delicious though I will definitely be back to try their other dishes! By the way, I’m already munching on what I got for “later” LOL (still have 1/2 of my breakfast left )

I stopped by before my nail appointment right next door. Friendly staff. The guava and cheese pastelito was great. The empanadas were the best ones I’ve had in Tampa area and cortadito was on point. Will definitely come back.
