This place is amazing! You walk in and the decor is so fun fish, pirates, ship parts you name it its hung somewhere. They have the best staff! Everyone we saw and talked with were so nice and interactive with my three kids. They showed them their interactive floor where they can stop and jump on moving objects while we waited for out to go order. The place was spotlessly clean!! The food was mouth watering good. We could not stop eating there was definitely no left overs because it was so good! My family highly recommends this restaurant. Also the prices are very reasonable for a seafood restaurant. 10/10 recommend.

Delicious Food and Drinks, Hannah Explained The Menu, Provided Recommendations and Great Service, My first time here. I ordered steamed crab, and shrimp which included corn on the cob, boiled potatos, and smoked sausage drenched in mild garlic and lemon pepper butter. I also ordered steamed oysters on the half shell with garlic and lemon pepper butter. Also, had a great drink selection to choose from (will say no more on that).. So my bill was in the $50 – $100 range. Will Be Back.

This place was delicious! I had steamed oysters, shrimp with Cajun garlic butter mix, and it was so good I could eat it again today. Atmosphere was great, restaurant was clean, and I will be back!!!

Stop by the laughing crab today and I ordered onion rings, clam chowder, shrimp basket, medium heat sausage. The onion rings were blah, think cheap diced onion rings that are frozen and pre-bought. The clam chowder tasted good, was mostly potato, and I only had two pieces of dime size clam. The shrimp basket was OK however I noticed towards the end of the meal when I remove some of the batter that they actually deveined all of the shrimp. Not many places take the time to devein fried shrimp. The sausage was gross. All they did was pour salt in a little pepper on top of it. I sent it back asked him to rinse it off. It came back plain and it tasted good. Don’t have them add seasoning. Staff was friendly and attentive. However some of the other customers were loud rude and yelling to get the waitresses attention.

The waiter was great. I tried the fried catfish, and my wife, the gumbo. Both were edible, with a nice portion. The food for my taste just wasn’t very good. I tried a boiled shrimp off my daughter’s plate, and it was better than what I had. The waiter was great tho! Place laid out well and clean. Pretty good tea.

Pretty good service..food came fast and we where shown to our table quickly..prices are ok..parking was limited.the only issue we had was that a couple of our sides where undercooked (egg & potatoes ) but all and all it was a great experience for us.. but we will definitely return..

My family came in. Very unprofessional manager n service. Did not explain policy. My father was treated unfair. We love our of town. Will never come again. Called backed to speak to manager and he hung up the phone. Ethan, first impression was not a good fit. Service fee was crazy for six people.

Some friends of mine tried out this place right after they opened. They recommended it to me, said the food and service was great. I’m not sure what has changed in the short time they’ve been open, but my experience with the service was completely sub-par for a place you spend $100+ for two. We walked in, the place is newly remodeled and looks great, we waited to be seated for about 5 minutes, we watched servers standing at the bar talking, others running food, nobody acknowledged we were even there. If I didn’t have my mind set on seafood, I would’ve walked out. Finally we were seated and ignored for a little while as the wait staff had some friends just hanging out, they didn’t seem to be eating or drinking, just distracting the wait staff. The bartender came out and introduced herself as our server. We ordered a beer, she brought them out, my mug was half full, my date’s was overfilled. We waited for another good while when she came to take our order. She was knowledgeable about the menu, we ordered the couples combo. While waiting for our food, our waitress brought us our silverware, bibs, gloves, crackers, bucket and sauces. The food came out in a timely manner and was hot. The shrimp and crawfish was great, the crab and lobster were a bit over cooked. I’d consider returning, but I doubt I’d spend the money on what I did.

As a birthday lunch, we were there first, and the appetizers (crab cakes & cheese sticks) were very good. The main meal (combo – king crab+shrimp+sausage – all 1/2lb. with Cajun & Garlic seasoning mild) was very delicious. Overall, I was very pleased and would recommend THE LAUGHING CRAB to family, friends and others.
