Staying overnight nearby. Walking distance from hotel. I am a food snob and good cook, so travel food can disappoint. This place does not disappoint!!! Reasonable, fantastic pizza, we had the mushroom truffle shuffle…something. it was freaking delicious. The caesar was terrific! Wine selection GREAT. Service was exceptional. WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! FYI, my neice is a Michelin star chef…I know good food.

Server Ashley H. was outstanding and not overbearing, truly attentive at the right times and genuine personality. Food was fresh and incredibly tasty. My picky teen loved the calamari, it was delicious! Head chef came to our table for a pleasant conversation and really made us feel welcome. Tables pretty close together, but we still felt comfortable while sharing the dining area with strangers. Thank you Basil, your restaurant is one of our favorites and we will see you again soon!

We got there at 5 pm on Friday the 30th and the host made sure we knew that we had to leave by 6:30 because they needed the table. The restaurant at this time was very empty and this kind of comment made the rest of the time in the restaurant sour. Never in my life have I been told that I had to leave by a certain time so they could give the table to someone else. I get that that’s a thing, that they’d need the table, but you don’t say it to the customer. They should know that as long as the food comes out on time, an hour and a half is plenty, if not the average time for dinner outing. So they shouldn’t even need to tell us to be out by 6:30. It feels unwelcoming and like you’re just a number not a guest. The photo is what the restaurant looked like when she told us to be out by 6:30.

This Basil restaurant is absolutely perfect, they have a great selection of wine to pair with your meal. Their appetizers are unbelievably great and then the entrees were fantastic. Such great flavors. Oh and had to get a dessert.

Visited on a Thursday at around 5 and had no wait for my party of 2. The waitstaff was incredibly friendly and we were met with a variety of different items on their menu. We chose to order the Baked Brie and share the Queen Margherita pizza. The baked Brie, although very good and the perfect size for two people, could have been baked a little longer but was still delicious! Our pizza was also great except it was incredibly greasy and flimsy in the middle and was difficult to remove from the platter without the slice falling apart. I think we might have just chosen the wrong pizza to order as others around us looked like their pizza was staying in tact, so maybe we just got a bad pie. In all we would visit again and had a good experience, just the food could’ve been a little better in our opinion.
