I ordered food from here on Saturday April 1st, 2023 at around 1800 and it never showed up. I called to check on it after an hour and they told me it had been picked up for delivery. Another hour later I called to see where the food was and they said they had no record of the transaction. I went in and showed them that they had taken the money out of my account and even though the manager could see they had taken the money, she acted like they did not have any record of it and blew me off. Avoid this place, they’re gonna rob you.

I had a very bad experience at the Waite Park Famous Dave’s yesterday. I placed a to go order. When I went to pick it up, no one helped me. I waited for probably a half hour. I figured they were busy and just didn’t have it ready. Turns out my order had been sitting the entire time, so they had to remake it.

Good food with just nice proportion sizing. The sauces definitely brings out the hidden tastes of the barbequed meats along with staple Southern classics like the cornbread and catfish. Definitely can’t go wrong here!

I almost always get the burger of the month and it never disappoints. The price is always good as well. My fiancé gets the rib tips and I don’t think I’ve seen him eat anything with as much love as he eats those.

Ordered to pick up for the family, got home and kids chicken basket was burnt chicken strips. Check your food before you leave- unless you want to get home and have to throw kids food away.

I would leave a lower star rating if I was allowed to. I live an hour away. My wife went to pick up take out from famous Dave’s $70 worth of barbecue. I got $20 worth of macaroni and cheese Caesar salad and cheesecake. They claim it’s because I share the same name with somebody else’s order. Buyer beware when you order from this place that’s all I can say.

I’ve ordered to go orders from this place three times. First time was fantastic no issues. Second time they forgot half off the meal was missing and did not include the sauce I asked for. Third time I not only asked for it in the order but the delivery driver asked as well. They lied and said it was in there. Now im sitting here waiting for the sauce and my food will probably be warm at best by the time I get it. If you order to go check everything before you leave if you order delivery you are at the mercy of complacent or lazy staff.

Placed an order to go at 6:40pm, was given a 6:56pm pickup time. Got there at 7:00pm, order wasn’t ready, said they were getting it ready… 20 minutes later they said they are bagging it up and will be out soon. 35 minutes AFTER pickup time, I finally got my food. Almost an hour to prepare food?? Went back to hotel only to see they didn’t put any sauces, utensils, napkins, or wipes in bag. Seriously?? Who doesn’t put this stuff in to go orders?? Granite City, thats who. Ribs also had a funny taste to them, like old meat, with no smoke flavor at all. I have been to many Famous Dave’s all over the states and NEVER had an awful experience like this place. I would advise Dave to remove this location from Granite City as they don’t care about Famous Dave’s at all, only about their own business.
