Ordered two medium pizzas at 640 pm. Called back at 840 to them saying they were super behind and didn’t know when it would be delivered. Called back at 915 and they said it would be the next one delivered. 931 and pizza was just delivered. We have never had any issues here before and order quite frequently from them. Just very disappointed in the service and time wait this time around and no offer of any type of discount or compensation for a 3 hour wait. Not expecting a full compensation or anything but something would have been nice.

This restaurant used to be named Deputy’s Pizza when it was owned by a local Albany/Athens family. Since the new owners have taken over (I believe in 2019), they have changed their food supplier, and the new supplier doesn’t have as good of food in some aspects (rubbery ham), but better food in other aspects (WAY better pizza sauce than ever before). Also, since under new ownership, they have raised the prices a bit. However, with the current economy, nobody should be blaming them for that. I am just being honest on the only negatives. Everything else is a positive, which is why I’d still give them 5 stars.

If you won’t drive less than 10 minutes to deliver a 30% tip, don’t offer delivery. Why did you even buy out a pizza place? This was 4/18 (yesterday). They said they couldn’t deliver the $22 pizza 8 minutes away. We were gonna give $30, that’s around a 30% tip.

Down from Bellefontaine, camping at Lake Hope, and just finished a canoe trip on Raccoon Creek. We like looking for local “hole-in-the-wall” places to eat, when we are out and about, and this place looked like it was begging us to stop. We ordered an 18″ pepperoni and a small taco pizza. We took them to a rest area just down the road and found a picnic table. Both were absolutely delicious. The taco pizza was loaded down with meat, black olives, and jalapeños. This place made our “stop here again” list.

We order the same thing each time, but the price is never consistent. Apparently they also won’t do an 8 minute drive to deliver to our new place, which is closer to them than our old place. And we were gonna tip like 25% too. If you won’t drive 8 minutes to make a delivery, what good are you as a delivery service?
