We arrived nearly at closing time so it was a brief experience. The ladies at the counter were tired, you could tell, but they were friendly and attentive as could be. The atmosphere is so cool. It’s fun to see how many celebrities you can recognize in the pictures around the restaurant. The restaurant and bathrooms were incredibly tidy for it being the end of the day. When we realized we were there after closing (the ladies at the counter never mentioned they were closing, they just let us continue to eat. Nice!) we asked for to-go boxes because I was not about to leave my friend mushrooms and that delicious ranch dressing (they should bottle that up and sell it). All of our food was great, fresh, and made to order. Nothing has set under a light or in a warmer. As soon as we were ready to leave a very strong rain storm rolled through, I was soaked through but my mushrooms made the trip home more tolerable. All in all I will addhave to give The Boomerang restaurant in Norman, OK an above average rating. Excellent really for the courtesy they extended us at such a late hour. Thanks!

Nice clean dinner with good food priced right. Waitress was friendly and helpful. Decor reminds me of diner’s of the 60s. Got the old fashioned burger with tater tots and it was good. This was my first time and will definitely be back again.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Dined in and witnessed staff being extremely unprofessional towards each other, making people incredibly uncomfortable. The Female wait staff making lewd and inappropriate comments to male staff members, making them visibly uncomfortable.

First time at this place and it’s so cute and just my families type of place to get either breakfast or lunch, late in the day. The atmosphere was great, the service was really good and the food was a 7 out of 10 and very reasonable. Except, the only complaint was the Ruben. My husband ordered it and it was expensive but looked like a kids meal. The fires were under cooked as well and the fries were an extra charge. The cost was over $10 for what would feed a kid.

I didn’t have the heart to tell the lady…she was very nice ND service was so good…but my fries were cold like they had been sitting under a lamp. My burger was not delicious, it tasted like the meat was spoiled. I didn’t get sick from it but mYbe the grill needs to be cleaned.

Classic diner with retro decor, friendly staff, and comfort food. For me, a generous plate of scrambled egg, crispy hash brown, ham, and a side of biscuit of gravy never fail to please. The space is not very big and they have added plexiglass between booth spaces.
