Some tables are wobbly so we keep on changing ours and ended up with a table with a tissue underneath. LOL 🙂 We ordered a Chicken Pesto Sandwich, a Tuscan Grilled Cheese and an old fashioned Lemonade Strawberry which was so good.

Nice chain bakery/restaurant. I has scrambled eggs with bacon and pancakes. Pancakes syrup we’re really excellent. Everything was good. You order at the counter and they give you a beeper that will tell you when your food is ready to be picked up.

I love these cafes…and this one could be great. But I’m really unhappy about the sticky floors. Everywhere my shoes make that cracking noise like I’m walking on a gluey surface. I’m going to have to clean my shoes when I get home. But aside from this the dishes are piled up, tables are not wiped (also sticky) and there is no more clean silverware so I had to eat with plastic. Not my favorite when I am hoping for a dining in experience. I hope my tiny review inspires some change. I was hoping to be a regular since I live a couple blocks away. I might give it one more chance but if my feet still I’ll just leave. Makes me worry about the other details missed in food safety or something else. Pancakes, coffee and business design all are excellent. Just need better management maybe.

My husband just came back with coffee and tea from the store. The service he received was day and night from our first experience, going down to minus zero rating. It’s Saturday at 3:00pm! Are they aiming to keep everything spotless so they can close store and go home early? They rang the coffee and tea and told my husband he could not go to fill his coffee because that whole area was being mopped. My husband needed, no kidding, to ask them how he was supposed to fill his cup with coffee then. Only then, the male server said grudgingly that he would do it for him. There’s much in customer service and cordiality to be learned by these young workers!!!

I enjoyed their breakfast and pastries. Nicely located in Downtown Gaslamp district. The only unfortunate part of my experience was the slow service to place your order. They seemed to be well staffed, just not very coordinated on the register/ order placement point. Other than that , everything seemed pretty delicious…

We’re not from the area and friendly passersby told us about this place. The broccoli cheddar soup was delicious and the BLT sandwich was amazing. We also went for an Iced Chai latte and was very refreshing. If we ever pass around this area, we’re definitely coming back. Also service was amazing and nice.

The 2 employees (2 young ladies) were very friendly. Unfortunately, the fudge brownie that I ordered (the only thing I ordered) just tastes like sugar and it barely tastes like chocolate, and it had too much powdered sugar on top… I thought a restaurant with the word “bakery” in its name would have a much better fudge brownie. The food seemed more appetizing that their baked goods, but I did not have any.
