The best Chinese Takeout in the neighborhood. Food selection and quality is great. The service is prompt and takes about 15 to 30min on average. In terms of the cost it feels like this place is the only one that didnt do a crazy hike due to recent events. Thank you!

The food is always good but it’s really rude and honestly annoying how the woman always rushes your order on the phone. she doesn’t even let you finish your sentence or finish saying half your address before she keeps cutting you off, which is really disrespectful to paying customers and she does it every single time we order there, for years. Other than that the food is good they just need to be a little nicer or the phones, I get you’re busy it cmon haha you’re just bc of your paying customer that you continue to keep talking over. Besides that, you would get a 5 star rating from me

Absolutely wonderful! Food was prepared promptly and correctly. I love seafood and the Gen. Tso shrimp is the first where I feel like I got a good portion size. The broccoli that came with it was perfectly cooked…not mushy, not raw. My family fully enjoyed their meals as well. Highly recommend.

As mentioned several times, anything chicken is delicious. General tso’s chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and chicken with garlic sauce…all tender chicken. The sauces were not sickly sweet, like so many Americanized Chinese sauces are. The beef stick was tender. The fried wontons were quite good. The only improvement needed is for spicy dishes to be spicier.

China Star is really good! Best Chinese restaurant in a Limerick area. Always fresh with wide selection including sushi. Also short pickup or delivery time. Price is right, vs some others that are double the price. Local gem in Limerick! Well worth a try!
