WHAT A FIND! I was driving through Alabama on my way to NOLA from Cincinnati, OH, and needed to stop somewhere for lunch – I couldn’t have stumbled upon a better place! Needless to say, the tamales are absolutely delicious, the toppings are fresh and flavorful, and not only that, but everyone who works there is a delight. I felt so taken care of, I didn’t want to leave! Next time I’m headed south, I know where I’ll be stopping 😉 Thanks Tamale Queen!!!

It’s a restaurant located inside a trailer park, so that means the food will be excellent. I went with the extreme tamales and was not disappointed. That they didn’t have the extra hot salsa is the only negative thing I could find.
