This was the worst food I have eaten for a long time. I ordered the Brisket Dip and most of the meat was fat and gristle. I couldn’t pick the sandwich up because it was soggy and fell apart. I took a picture of the “brisket” I scraped off of the sandwich. I ordered fries as my side and that came 10 minutes later. They were not busy during the time we were there. The Mac and Cheese my wife ordered was not fresh at all. It was cold and stuck together in one big glob. She ordered a quesadilla with ground beef, which wasn’t hamburger, it was some kind of beef ground up, then it tasted like a liquid smoke was added to the meat. It had a very strong taste and she couldn’t eat it. The staff were not welcoming at all. We wasted almost $40 for what we threw away except for the fries. The fries were good. I highly recommend to look elsewhere for eating good barbecue!

Disclaimer: I am from Texas, so my standards for barbecue are pretty high. The place is located nicely in a shopping area, super clean on the inside with a nice interior. Callie, who took my order, was super friendly, and made some good suggestions on the menu. The food came out super quickly too which was nice. As to the food, the turkey was excellent! The sides…not so much. The coleslaw was quite bland and the au gratin potatoes were not fully cooked so a bit crunchy and not much flavor. Great selection of drinks including beer and the huge selection of sauces which were nice. The “Texas Heat” has no heat but tasty – bit on the sweet side Prices were a bit high for chain type BBQ and portion sizes. I would have probably gone with three stars, if not for the excellent service, cleanliness of the place, etc. If you’ve had Texas, Memphis or KC style BBQ, don’t expect that here. Otherwise, not a bad stop for some decent BBQ.

Friendly staff, clean facility. I ordered the brisket, pulled pork, coleslaw and baked beans. My husband had the same with the exception of cornbread instead of coleslaw. My experience was excellent except the meat was not as tasty as was hoping, nor the corn bread. I didn’t taste much seasoning on the meat and the cornbread tasted like a stick of butter. I wasn’t too crazy on the BBQ sauces either.

Cold soggy fries. No body eating at 6:30. Should have known it wasn’t good. Complained .They made fresh fries. Hot but too heavy on the seasoning. Could not eat them . Expensive and you don’t get much. Three little slices of brisket. The help seemed to be having fun. Will not be back.

First visit today to pick up carry out Staff was very helpful. I hadn’t seen any reviews on the chicken biscuit sandwich. I am so glad I ordered it! So good and blows any fast food crispy chicken sandwich to the curb. The beans and mac and cheese were amazing, my husband really liked the smoked wings. Those were really good dipped in the white bbq sauce. Will definitely return to try other menu items!

Sugar fire is a great location with Great BBQ as well as other options. They support the community. They have a cool inside that is well decorated and has some neat items. They are always having new specials daily and all their sides are really good. I was surprised of how good their bbq was . I will gladly go back to this location.

Ordered the 2 meat meal- with 4 bones ribs, sausage link, macaroni, baked beans, and a sweet tea. The best part of the meal was the baked beans! The macaroni was mediocre, as well as the sausage links. The ribs were decent, just feel like it’ll taste better covered in their BBQ sauce instead of naked ribs. Oh and the tea was pretty basic, i’ll probably eat here again just not often. The service was fast and friendly.

The brisket sandwich and The Big Muddy sandwich were delicious! The pork belly hush puppies were my favorite part of our meal. The coleslaw was on point. The waitress was kind. The bathroom was clean. The different BBQ sauces were all good. We will absolutely be returning!
