Honestly, it’s really the food and selection I hate about the chow hall across the fleet. Sodexo does an outstanding job hiring people with disabilities and I can commend them for that. However, the food is sugared garbage, steamed to mush vegetables, undercooked rice, and the saddest fast food imaginable.

For the amount of meals these guys have to cook to provide for all the troops that have meal cards on this installation they’re definitely a five-star facility. Yesterday co-worker and I got to enjoy the Marine Corps Birthday luncheon which consisted of steak Lobster shrimp cocktail fruit cocktail in a champagne flute, green beans baked potato rolls. Happy birthday Marines

The chicken is always dry, and this time around it was pink. Other than that the service is good and the mess hall is clean

Its edible. For us that have no choice but to eat here thats what it is. Personally I think this chow hall should be better in the sense that at the end of the day most people eating at this facility are men and women that are standing for this country. They deserve much more then just “Edible”. After those long hours at work the one place you are forced to eat at because you can’t use BAS should be the same quality as what you could get at a good store.

The staff are super friendly and communicative. But the food is tiresome, it’s the same things 90% of the time. Some days I would just get a salad which I have to smother with dressing to make it bearable. Then most times I feel like I’m on a keto diet. The only desirable things are the bread and some of the fruit. This really needs some work. Please try to fix this.

Imagine the flavor gray, that’s most of the food here, occasionally they have bangers but those are few and far between. Even the hot sauce can’t help the underlying taste of depression and sadness, it’s always present. Some of the staff just full on tell you to kick rocks if you complain about the portions and charge you again to come back though the line. The only highlight is Mrs. Debra, she is always excited and ready to help us, she is the one bright spot in the dark place that is Cherry Point chow hall. So in short this chow hall is in God’s blind spot.

The quality of the food is not bad considering the amount of people they are feeding. The workers that scan your I’d in the front are always lovely to interact with. The rest of the staff is friendly and do a great job at keeping the chow hall clean.

The chow hall is okay, but I’m tired of eating the same thing all the time, like switch it up or something or come up with different style of dishes. Sometimes the food be tasting like they reheated it from days before. The breakfast is the only thing that’s fresh and good to me

They don’t cook nothing. Everything is raw.

Been eating here for 2 years. The lack of quality and the abundance of garbage food and side dishes that look like extra food thrown together is consistent. Have made several complaints, nothing ever gets fixed. Also this place has had a cockroach problem for several months.
