I got a combo meal with an enchilada, rice, and beans. This is what they served me, totally inedible. The beans were rock hard to the touch. The boys were incredibly nice when I went to get my money back. They had the manager on the phone, but the manager didn’t seem too concerned. I was told the manager would call me in 1-2 days and I would get refunded only when the manager, Margie, came in on Sunday or Monday.

I have been a fan of Taco Treat for decades. I went today to “eat in” and was surprised to find that it is now drive thru only and I could be served inside ONLY IF I WAS A GAMBLER according to the officious short blond woman who met me at the door. Sad end to a good restaurant. I moved away years ago but always made it a point to visit Taco Treat when I was in town. I can scratch that off my list.

I’m honestly amazed this place has 4 stars. The taco shells and beans were obviously in a warmer because they were so dry and hard. The cheese is so gross and slimy. I couldn’t finish the food. I just heard a family member ask, “ewe what kind of meat is this”. The Mexican TV diners by Banquet tastes better.

I used to love Taco Treat. I’ve been eating their tacos since I was a kid. On Tuesday, I spent $50 on tacos, only to throw most of them in the garbage after getting a mouth full of mold in two tacos. So I called and asked for a refund. The store manager and two people from the corporate office proceeded to gaslight me, insisting there was no way there was mold in my tacos. It’s against their policy to give refunds, but they offered me some free food. After the disgusting moldy tacos? No thank you. They’ve lost a very loyal customer because of their rudeness and gaslighting.
