The biscuit was soft fluffy & delicious, but the sausage was chewy & rubbery. This usually happened when the patties are pre cut or cooked too long. Hot dog was very good. This is an update::::::: Sister & I ordered two 2 piece pork chop plates. The pork chops were definitely UNDERCOOKED. Cook your food done.

Was randomly looking for a reasonably rated eatery off the beaten paths of I-85. Google Maps pointed me here and appears to be a hidden gem. $7 for a 3-piece white meat chicken with 2 sides and a fountain soda is a steal.

Food is decent. People are nice. NEVER will I go for lunch. Spent 10 minutes in line waiting and watching the young lady answer phones and take those orders while I’m Standing in front of her. Then when I asked how long if I ordered the Special of the day, she told me it would be quite a while because there were so many orders in front of me. Lunch is only an hour! I got the impression people on the phone were more important or took Priority over customers who took the time to come in. I went to the Mexican restaurant instead. Service was Great and timely. Food was Excellent

Raced to find dinner as hurricane Isaias picked up, they were out of a good deal as a shipment hadn’t arrived also due to the storm and I just caught them before they closed up. Staff was super friendly and helpful explaining options as I rushed to pick something out. The fish dinner came with two sides and flounder was cooked so well! Huge serving and well worth the wait to cooked fresh.

I was surprised to learn on my first visit to this location that where I was expecting only to be able to choose from different sub options they also had soul food options. Some of the pluses were that it is located in my neighborhood, the soul food options were a pleasant unexpected surprise, and the staff was extremely professional and friendly. I also got to meet the husband and wife owners and chat with some other customers. I was being treated to lunch by friend, and since I had not eaten there before I ordered fried chicken, with French fries and pineapple cake. I picked up a pork chop sandwich for my cousin. Now if I had anything to complain it would be the flies. I know that they are everywhere and that we can’t control how they get in, but I believe that every restaurant should do their level best to not serve food in a room with flies or any insects to get rid of them. Outside of that, great experience. Also I requested fries with my order and some for my cousins order. She misunderstood and gave me two orders of fries on my plate. The owner accommodated me with another order and it was done. I will return.

My first time at this place. Ordered burger, fries and a drink. My burger was hard, dry and overcooked. It was about 2.5 ” round. Lots of bun for sure! The fries were cold and wimpy. They tasted like they’ve been sitting on the counter all morning with no heat lamp. When I walked up to the counter, no one was there. A female was in the back, she saw me, never acknowledged I was there or let me know someone was going to wait on me. I turned to walk out when another female came around the corner and asked if she could help me. This was my first time here and will be my last. I was impressed! Impressed enough to know I’ll never go back.
