First time there, food was ok, served hot but when we went to order dessert from menu was told it was only apple or key lime pie, no bread pudding which we really wanted. Got fish and chips , and onion rings as appetizer good portion on entree, and even though onion rings were big, only got 5. Place was busy.

My husband and I made Rose & Crown our first stop on a mini pub crawl. We didn’t want to leave!! The staff were so very friendly, great beer and drink selection, and the chips & curry were fantastic! I’ve never had such amazing chips!! We can’t wait to go back and try more food. A top notch experience for sure! Great food, great service, amazing atmosphere!!

Skip it – Owner can’t possibly care about doing it right because they do it so wrong… Can’t pour a proper Guinness – Food was bunk – waaay overcooked the bangers, apparently don’t know how to cut onions properly for onion gravy – blobs of uncooked batter on the fried fish and completely flavorless. Good chips and courteous and attentive wait staff, but that’s not enough and I’ll never go back.

Went to Rose & Crown for a date night and will be back! We were seated at a bar high top and our servers were very attentive. Enjoyed cocktails and a cold draft, shared a Scotch egg for an appetizer and split a hefty ribeye for our main course. Had a bit of tomato bisque and delicious garlic butter & bread in between courses and were eying the menu for our next venture back!
