Worst food ever !! Mushy rice !! No flavor beef and strange!! Could even finish the meal and had to take it out of the room!! Wow I have a bad taste in my mouth right now!! I normally don’t do bad reviews!! But how can you sell food this bad??

The most accommodating restaurant I’ve ever been in. I got sick (I’m disabled/ill) and nearly fainted. The hostess ran to the back to get me ice, and she even closed the doors to turn the AC on. I’m a power wheelchair user, so I went to the car to lay back and they offered to bring the food to our car. They were willing to do anything to help and make it easier for us. Their food is amazing, and I already knew that because I lived here years ago and frequented this restaurant. A lot of places where I live now aren’t willing to accommodate me and being treated like a human being here just made me feel emotional.

I eat here several times a week, both lunch and dinner, and the food is awesome! Super fresh and great portion sizes. M wife and I love it so much I used it for our rehearsal dinner, which they did an amazing job on. Not a typical place for that occasion, but they went all out! Everybody loved it! Lin is such a great hostess to her customers and makes everyone feel so comfortable. I could go on & on but the point is this…If Zen Garden wasn’t around life would suck and I’d be very sad for a long time! This place is awesome for both food and the people. You have to try it!!!!

Very well executed. Food is cooked fresh, and fairly healthy. Many of the dishes are prepared more traditionally,leaning less on sauce, and more on quality. The service was quick, and very friendly and attentive. Very well done covid protocols as well. I will go back.

High quality Chinese food! The food is fresh and authentic. The service is great. And the prices are shockingly low. We ordered two lunch specials and the total was only $20. We thought they forgot to add something to the bill at first. The portions are very big, too. The interior is very comfortable and clean with pleasant Chinese decor.

We ordered take out for V-day celebration. Kung pao and schezwan chicken. I have to say both taste almost same and awful. I have tasted chinese food at so many places but this is the worst taste I ever had. If we talk about the looks of the two entrees, I cannot make the difference, exactly the same. I am so disappointed. I dont understand why this place has so many stars. I wish I could have an option to give half a star.

I picked up food last night and have to say this was some of the worst Chinese food I have ever had….and i’ve eaten a lot of Chinese food. The food lacked any flavor, was not properly cooked, the rice was mushy, the beef in the beef and broccoli had a strange smell and there was an awkward gooey film around the beef. This was the first time ordering from this restaurant, therefore I don’t know if they had an off night….unfortunately I ended up throwing away the entire meal…which I have never done….EVER!

Local delivery to Oak Park is something is locals cherish, but the place is excellent even if you overlook that. They’re fast, friendly, and make a decent curry. Along with a good Kung Pao, that’s all I ask from a Chinese restaurant.
