On our first visit, the dishes were hit or miss. The Shanghai style rice cake (上海炒年糕) was spot on, but the two soups （Chinese okra with somen noodles, 絲瓜麵線and fried tofu puff with bean noodle soup 油豆腐細粉）was under seasoned to the point of being almost tasteless. The sautéed pork kidney in sesame oil (麻油腰花) is also very light on salt/soy sauce, too.

Cash only. Free parking in the plaza (it’s a busy plaza). Small dining place & don’t accept RSVP (I think… Could be wrong. Best to call beforehand). My picture is the most recent order in Sept. 2019. Just perfect for one. $11.99. Rice charged separately.

The employees were yelling and fighting, I didn’t know what they were saying since I’m not Chinese bit it made the entire restaurant uncomfortable. This went on for 15 mins and they would take breaks and then come back and yell see more. Place only takes cash to avoid the IRS as well.

Place is small, but it is authentic. Good portions and you order family style. Water was nasty. Most dishes we ordered were good. Pork ribs were not good. Fried rice was sooooo good, and so where any of their chicken dishes. Their customer service is also great, we were a big group and yet they were still accommodating. Would if you like family style.
