When white water rafting all day and out guide said the best food in Leavenworth was in cashmere at a restaurant name La tortuga loca. Margaritas were amazing and Tacos Azteca were unbelievable, they even had Pacifico on tap, first time in USA I have ever seen that. Amazing authentic experience!

Best Mexican and not Mexican food experience. Very tasty!!! We are traveling sometimes in this area and definitely will return back many more times. Usually I’m very picky about food and our kids are the same, so when we order some dishes, everyone pick something different and usually I like only one dish that I chose, but this time I tried every dish and everything was delicious! And all 3 kids were also impressed Thanks a lot to all the stuff for such a pleasant experience!

I love this place! Authentic and high quality, interesting food choices. I LOVE the whimsical decorations!! Their cocktails are also interesting and delicious. As a bartender I was very impressed all the way around. The service and prices are amazing. Highly recommend! Just know that you pay at the front when finished instead of waiting for the server to bring your bill.

The first time I went here, I wasn’t sure what to think- they don’t do things the same way all the other Mexican restaurants do. No chips and salsa when we sit down? Fries instead of rice and beans? I was dubious, but I was WRONG! Their staff is so friendly and offer great suggestions if you’re indecisive, happily accommodate reasonable substitutions/requests, and genuinely want their customers to have an excellent experience.

DH and I like to visit the Winthrop area every year and we like to come home via Highway 97 to get back home to Everett. We were hungry and happened to drive through Cashmere and I noticed this very unique looking Mexican place. Gabriel, the manager took excellent care of us, answering all my questions and making helpful suggestions. What an extensive menu of unique items. We split the Cuban Torta. Now I have to say, I know tortas, they are about 6 inches long, right? This one was about a foot, stuffed with not just the ham, but 6 other meats and cheese on grilled bread. They give you a half cup of pickled japapenos that were exactly perfect to layer on the sandwich! We also had the Al Pastor and Carne Asada tacos. Best Al Pastor and Torta I ever tasted. I wish I had brought an ice chest, I would have brought home more of the entrees, it was so good!

Went in on Cinco de Mayo for a margarita and chips and salsa. My drink was missing the tequila (as you can see the difference in the photo) and they don’t serve chips and salsa. We ordered nachos which which was made with pita chips. The staff was very nice and attentive but I probably will not go again the next time I visit Cashmere.
