Delicious breakfast and lunch food, all made from scratch by Chef Shawnna Durrett. Homemade baked goods. Daily specials. Healthy options. Salads, veggies, sandwiches, burgers. Muffins and pies are especially good. Tasty Quiche was in a crust made from scratch. When she had issues with her brand new oven, she was forced to close the very day before preparing Thanksgiving orders. A real trooper; she cooked all night and met every obligation!

We had really solid breakfast at this cute, small town dinner. The service was incredibly friendly, as just about everyone who worked there stopped by to say hello and/or check on us at some point during the visit. We had eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, toast, and hashbrown casserole. The hashbrown casserole was a special and it was fantastic. As this little bit of Willow Park on I20 gets more and more chain and fast food options, it is nice to have a little place like this that has a genuine small town feel to it. We were very pleased with our breakfast experience at Blue Bonnet and will likely return again soon.

I really want to like this place. First, cashier did greet me and said hi but no one else did. I even made eye contact with the older lady and the chef but nothing. The place is clean. The food service is a little slow so maybe it will get better. Don’t get the Monday special. I waited for it for 15 mins or longer and it was already made. They don’t give you enough food to get full, especially if you are a man. Some of the noodles where hard. The bread was hard. Not worth $9.00. The worst thing was, I witnessed the older waitress with the gray ponytail carrying food to a table and she had her ponytail in front and it was about 1 inch or less away from the food. I would have walked out if it was my food. It must better to last in Aledo.

Shawna opened up for me on a Sunday for my rehearsal dinner. First she was so reasonable with her pricing, but also I picked the whole menu that she made from scratch. It was the best I could have ever asked for. The waitress was awesome!! The food was nothing short of amazing. I would bring a whole group here all over again. I left as one happy bride!

Omg food was absolutely delicious, I got the two pancakes with egg an bacon, the pancakes are so big they fill the large plate an are so nummy. My husband got the special of the day which was a western quiche with hash browns an he said it was outstanding. We shared the hash browns an they were perfect just the right amount of softness an crunchiness.

I walked into blue Bonnet Café on a Thursday not even realizing that it was there, literally less than a mile away from my home ….I’ve been there at least three times per week since then. It has very rapidly become my favorite “home cooked” Place to go. The food is always amazing and the staff, they completely entire experience. Everything is homemade and cooked to order but it doesn’t take a lifetime to receive your food which is amazing. They are all absolutely lovely and a pleasure to be around. Just a friendly Tip, the pastries, cakes or anything from the bakery section is to die for so definitely don’t skip out on that! This is where I go to get my sweet fix! Great food and great people but else can you ask for?

The lady working the front seemed nice, if a bit overwhelmed, but the older lady who appeared to be running the place was extremely rude and unfriendly. I understand that you’re busy due to being understaffed, the sign on the front door said as much, but maybe you wouldn’t be understaffed if you were a bit less rude to people who walked in the door. I didn’t even bother sticking around to try to food.
