When travelling though Ohio and Indiana, I’ve come across Frisch’s Big Boy as a chain of restaurants, so every time I drive by this place, I keep wondering if it was part of the same chain, even though it does not have the same look, and certainly there is no Big Boy holding up a burger in front of it!

This is for the dine in part. As a deli it’s fine, but the eat in area is very bad. It is a cafeteria with old 80s style fast food benches. Ordering is a pain and half the items don’t explain what they are so good luck deciding if you want something “Broasted” or not. Asking what it means got me a “uh it’s just how it’s prepared” so that was helpful. Plus screaming children, so many and so frequently, and no one will tell them to stop. The food is sort of just… Fine? It’s on the poor side of average, certainly not enough to warrant the crazy high reviews I saw for the place. That plus the abysmal atmosphere makes this a take-out at best.

This place is a real gem! Great food and VERY reasonable prices. I do not know of any other deli/restaurant that gives a bang for your buck like this establishment. A group of us frequently come here for the Chicken Dinner Specials on Wednesday & Thursday, which is over the top delicious and reasonably priced. We recently went for the Fish Dinner Special. Some of us had the Fish Sandwich Special others choose the Shrimp Dinner Special. So so good, a substantial amount to eat and once again great prices. Also a excellent place for take out when the whole family gets together.

Fun, family place with room for the whole family. There is a rather extensive deli in the front with coolers on the wall filled with homemade soups, grab some milk or beverages. Further back is a cafeteria-style line. You can build your own salad, order an individual meal or take home supper to the family. Pie by the slice is also available. The real star is the broasted chicken. It’s juicy chicken with a delicious crunchy outside. It’s not spicy, it’s savory & addictive! There is plenty of parking outside. There are no steps. The prices are very reasonable – $30 for a 14 piece bucket as of this date. Give this a try!

Placed an order for a grilled chicken sandwich @ 10:08. I was the only person on there at the time. I waited patiently til 10:30 to go up and say something. The lady tells me that the cook didn’t have the grille on?! Ok well how about next time someone should tell me that instead of having me sit there and wait. You can clearly tell I’m on my lunch break due to my clothes. I got my money back abd left. Never again.

Was told this place is good? Went to dine in first time with my son..young short Black hair girl who took my dine in order couldn’t possibly be any more rude and unfriendly. When I asked questions she act as if it’s annoying..just look at the faces of the workers..Also 30 dollars for a cheeseburger and chicken fingers??
