This is one of my new favorite places for crawfish! If you like SEASONED crawfish, do come give them a try. I must warn you they are spicy but not the kill ya kind of spicy. I’d say it goes well with the seasonings.

Very friendly owners! I called them 15 before closing time because I needed some of their seafood. They not only allowed me to come a little after closing but they gave me extra at night charge. Been here a few times and Sal has always taken good care of us. The shrimp are huge and the crawfish have a deep spicy flavor. The fries are pretty outstanding too. If there’s a line, it’s worth the wait.

The Shrimp was tasty but a little over cooked. The Poboys were not stuffed with meat. I wished they would of added more meat. Poboys are supposed to be stuffed with meat. They oysters were fried nice and the hot sausage was tasty as well.

Was excited about discovering this place but the several times I’ve visited along with family and the crawfish quality was very poor in the form of size(was extremely small), not boiled properly until it was not worth getting your hands dirty. I tried to call and share complaint but caller who answered hung up on me mid conversation. The price was extremely high for what I received. Ask to see your crawfish before making a large purchase.

Crawdads are what these low bottom feeders are called in NOLA. Miniscule crustaceans that live in the murky waters of Louisiana. During spring time, these mini lobsters population grow by ten folds so their size can get as large as a your palm. To believe that these guys spend most of their lives in swamps is quite fascinating. You don’t get much meat out of them, but the indulging experience is what many of us are seeking for!
