Jay’s is one of the best – if not the best – cheesesteaks in Spring-Ford area. Meat is well seasoned. I prefer mine with seeded roll, Cooper Sharp and fried onions. Cheese fries and the desserts are great too!

Stopped in and ordered a large cheesesteak with provolone, fried onions and hot cherry peppers. Price was very reasonable and service good. Steak was big, juicy and on point with the peppers. Spicy as advertised, which I like. Would definitely recommend for a cheesesteak.

A good example of a decent cheesesteak, good roll , meat was suitable. The place in general does not feel finished , nothing on the walls and the hand written menu is hard to read. A lot of pepper on the steak but it was good. Will be back in the future. For a new business in the area it was good !

I was making a long drive to Reading for a concert. I pulled off to eat at chick filet when I spotted Jay’s Steaks. I made the pivot to Jay’s and it was one of the highlights of my drip. I had a hot corned beef sandwich. The food was top notch and made to order. The staff was friendly and funny. It was so good that I bought a second sandwich (Turkey hoagie) for my late ride home. They packed it up perfectly for my ride and it was also exceptional. Jay’s Steaks is AWESOME!!!

Excellent cheese steak. I am usually able to eat a whole but these are filling. The seeded roll is softer then you would expect but vary good. Also had the pierogis with the house cheese which were fantastic. Definitely will be back
