BEWARE: I pulled into parking lot (University Heights location) just as phone message arrived: “Your pizza is ready.” Asked for payment, some voice told me “Wait to see the pizza.” good thing I listened, because eventually after a thorough search, staff concluded that “we gave the pizza away to someone else.” No apology, not promise to get a substitute asap. Maybe I can help Primoz by opening slots for other customers willing to take a chance. Shame there aren’t half a dozen other pizza joints within a 5-minute drive….

I tried Primoz for the first time a month or so ago; I wanted to try their vegan pizza since there were so many positive reviews about it. I reviewed their menu that I got in the mail and their prices seemed a tad high. However, their was a coupon for a large one topping pizza for $11.99. I called to place an order and they were very friendly. I ordered a pizza with vegan cheese and vegan sausage I was going to pay by credit card but was told that the pizza would be $14. So I had to make a special trip to the bank. I picked up my pizza and when I got home, opened the box to find miniscule bits of vegan sausage. The pieces were so small that I could not get sense of what it tastes like. The vegan cheese was plentiful, but I did not like the taste. I decided that if I ever ordered from them again, then I would order a regular pizza. Fast forward today and I ordered a pepperoni pizza and the pizza was just okay. The sauce is far too sweet and the pepperoni was unimpressive. Perhaps their other sauces are better, but I think I will order from Dewey’s or Pizzabofo. I wanted to like Primoz, but it just did not agree with me.

I like this place, although not a fan of their own homemade pizza sauce, I really think their pizza is delicious, I would go for the marinara sauce if you aren’t a fan of sweet pizza, but it’s a good spot and is a good place for University Hts and the South Euclid location.

Changing my review because this location is starting to become the worst. Was placed on hold for 17 mins and no one answered again. Drove by and they werent even busy. Something is always wrong with their computers. Called one time and they said they could only take orders if I came in and couldn’t take my order over the phone? Will definitely be choosing a different location or pizza spot.
