Don’t plan on eating here. Take it to go. There ain’t much to explore in Greenville but glad I stumbled across this place. It may not look like much but this converted home cooks the staples like grandpa would. Large portions for cheap. We ordered just about everything on the menu for great takeout, fed 9 of us, and had plenty of leftovers. The only bummer was they didn’t have ribs that day. The menu rotates daily and they cook til they run out of food.

Food was old and seem low quality (frozen food, thawing taste ) got the catfish and the Mac and cheese. Nothing was good to me or my wife . Might of caught it on a bad day during the weekend . A bit pricey for the quality of food we were served . The woman taking the order was very attentive and friendly. Wouldn’t Recommend.

Being here a little over a year, this is the first soul food restaurant that satisfied my taste. Nestled in a residential neighborhood, it’s like a cute little kept secret for those who know, know. When I first walked in, I knew I was in a restaurant, but it felt like I was visiting family and picking up a plate of dinner and the customer service was welcoming and sweet. ☺️ I’m so happy to have found them.

I really enjoyed the seafood Mac & Cheese! I paid $5 for a side. A lil pricey but was worth it. It was so good I didn’t even get a chance to take a pic. The fish, mac & cheese, and yams were good. I will definitely return to try that butter pecan cake!

Definitely worth going here. On our finale barbecue adventure. This was one of the last places we went and they did not disappoint. The staff was really friendly and the food was amazing! Will definitely be back next time. I’m in Greenville.

Honestly, it just wasn’t that good. I ordered the Pork BBQ with greens and yams. The pork was very dry, the collard greens looked and tasted more like turnip greens and the were just okay. I was pleased with the service. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but the building it self had no A/C and of need of some updating which the owner said he was in the process of doing. Myself and my 3 sons went there and no one was able to finish their platters. I’m hoping my experience was an adoration and not the norm for this establishment.
