Fantastic burger only topped by the amazing staff! Sweet baby Dee was our hostess, and though I can’t remember the rest of the staff they were all great. Chloe the owner and chef was absolutely wonderful. Came and shared drink and convo with our table. She even went above and beyond and made me a special burger . One of the best burgers I’ve ever had ! Do not skip this amazing little bar .

My favorite burgers and fries spot in Lexington. Their homemade, shoestring style fries are the best I’ve ever had. Their ranch dressing is made in-house and is god tier.

I stopped by Sidebar to pick up a bite to eat when passing through town. The young ladies behind the counter were all 3 so sweet and attentive. They seemed to know every person in there. I got a burger and fries to go, and drank a beer while waiting. It was delicious and well seasoned. Next time I am in town, I’ll definitely be stopping back in.

When it comes to finding the best burgers and atmosphere, it can be tough to choose just one spot. There are so many great burger joints out there, each with their own unique atmosphere and style. But in the end, there’s one place that stands out above the rest: Sidebar.

After a long ordeal to get some food after going to Lexington, we found this place. The Sidebar is very good food. Service was excellent. The girlfriend had sweet potato wedges with honey butter and a grilled buffalo chicken wrap. I had a 1/2 lb hamburger with bacon and cheddar. Also ordered a fry appetizer which was plenty for two people. Bill was 27.00. Left waitress a 7.50 tip because she was excellent and was very knowledgeable about what her restaurant served. Welcome oasis in the middle of some of the swankier (expensive) places. The music playing in the background inside and on the speakers outside was very relaxing. Good place to go in Lexington. Probably one of the best burgers I have ever had.9

Best dive bar in town, food is out of this world. Chef made us the chopped cheese special last night and it was like I died and went to heaven. If you like good food, cheep drinks, good service and awesome atmosphere we highly reccomend sidebar.

We tried to visit Side Bar on 4/22. 3 of us. There were two stools open at the bar. A high top with 2 stools and a low table with room for 4 but 2 seats. We walked in intending to sit at the bar and wait for aN extra spot to open. We were intercepted by a server that told us there was no standing at the bar as it would block the walkway. Ok odd, but it is a small place so I ask if we can sit at the high top. She says no there are three of you that will block the aisle. So my partner says we can fit at the table easily and it’s off to the side. She starts to sit and again Server comes forward and says she’s sorry but we’ll have to wait outside as there is no moving chairs and no standing. So I guess parties larger than 2 is a no go there didn’t seem to be many larger tables for anyone to sit at? Just very odd and weird to be brushed off when the bar was not even crowded. I asked again that we couldn’t sit or stand and she started telling us to please wait outside. In any case we walked next door to Jack browns which was pretty busy but friendly and welcoming. When we came back to go into Crossings the same server was telling another larger group they’d need to wait to so at least she’s consistent.

No frills place and you’ll wait for your food. It’s worth the wait — amazing burger — amazing. Had a Jeff Ruby’s burger the day after and couldn’t stop comparing it. The beef burger @ Sidebar with Brie cheese and au jous dipping sauce still has me dreaming. Thx to a nice local couple we met for recommending this spot

Bar tender made margarita with orange juice. Returned to the bartender immediately. He asked what the problem was. I told him how to make one. He was unaware that margaritas are made with lime juice not orange juice. Returned and ordered a bottled beer.
