Cute place in downtown St John. Has a variety of beer, from their own to other Michigan and domestic brands. They have a lot of BBQ food options, brisket, pulled pork, etc. I love the big old timey vault door as well.

Nice little place to eat and drink in St. John’s, Michigan. Food was well prepared and the servers were friendly. Burgers were great. Spinach artichoke dip was very good as well.

The food was good. The atmosphere was good. The service was horrible. We were there for two hours and there were like five tables that were opened. So it is not like they were packed. We saw the waitress maybe three times during the two hours and we had to call her over to get out checks. Who knows how long we would have been there if we hadn’t done that.

First time here, got the pulled pork Cuban sandwich. Really good. 4 choices of sauces brought to the table. I’m not usually a fan of French fries, but these were airy and crispy and perfectly seasoned. Surprised they weren’t packed for lunch.

We went here on a recommendation from our B&B host and she did rave about the burnt ends. They were absolutely delicious and a highlight of the night! Unfortunately, the nacho Mac and cheese came cold and was really dry and flavorless. I ended up sending it back for a replacement order of the smoked wings as we really enjoyed the first batch. Unfortunately, the second batch was overcooked and tough to eat so we didn’t finish them. The garlic parm fries were extremely salty. However, our waitress McKenzie stole the show! She was an absolute gem the entire time and was spot on with her drink recommendations! That blackberry wine spritzer was perfect! She was also really apologetic and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time which is why I’m giving this 4 stars. I think this place has great potential if you know what to order and are patient to enjoy the ambiance. Also, the bbq sauces were delicious!

Delicious brews and yummy food. What could be better? Mix the White and the Gold sauces together. You won’t be sorry. I had the Johnny Jump Up cider, The Strawberry Hibiscus Wheat (my fave of the four), Nectar of the Maple, and the Railyard Raspberry. All very yummy. Service was prompt and cordially. The menu has enough variety to accommodate most likes. We had the wings that were outstanding. The burnt ends were more roast like, than burnt end like, texture. Still delicious, along with their sauces. The onions rings were the best ever hands down. The chicken wings were the best we have had between Mackinaw City’s (Rusted Spoke) and St John’s. We complimented it all with the Mint City salad. It was an eclectic mix that truly complimented itself. Great find and would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed some delicious beers here with a mix of starters. The giant pretzel is no joke! I’m looking forward to visiting again. Our server, Dave, was fantastic. He helped us choose delicious drinks and was thoughtful throughout our entire visit.

We stopped for dinner here last week when we were passing thru the area. We split the chicken fajitas and were not impressed. The chicken was shredded, which I thought was really strange for fajitas and not appetizing looking at all. They were way too salty and the seasoning was off. The salsa wasn’t good either. Also, the first two tables we tried were very wobbly, so we ended up moving to a different table. Our waitress was nice but rarely came around to see if we needed anything, and didn’t offer to bring refills of our pop. Would not recommend.

Made sure I ordered a beer that was brewed in house and was absolutely delicious. I loved that they have a full liquor license because my boyfriend doesn’t like craft beer. We had the chicken wings and let me tell you that jalapeño honey was the best I’ve ever had!!! Dave was so informative and grace was so sweet. You can tell they both love their job. Coming from someone who works in the industry, and also a brewery. 5 stars all day, see ya soon !
