How have I never eaten here before? I’d argue one if the best sushi restaurants in York. Great presentation as well. Rarely do I order enough to be full without breaking the bank. Was stuffed afterwords so bang for the buck was great and great quality as well.

What a fantastic lunch! All of the staff was welcoming and friendly, the sushi was delicious and fresh, and the atmosphere was lovely. I hadn’t been here in such a long time and it was awesome to visit once again. They even surprised me with a perfectly portioned – and tasty- bowl of green tea ice cream. I will absolutely be back soon!

This place is seriously underrated! Have been here a few times so this isn’t a 1 and done review. Each time greeted at the door with friendly and willing staff giving off the “I enjoy being here” vibes. Food quantity and quality matches the price and presentation… ohh man the presentation is consistently on point! The use of dry ice with the sushi and the decorative add ons really make the experience enjoyable. Never had a dish that was over/under cooked, never over seasoned and never felt shorted. The place could use some modern renovation however the appearance of being hidden and underrated makes it that much better! The staff never crowded and pre bussed perfectly! Perfect for a couples dinner but, I would say no more than 4 when it comes to seating really nothing bad to say about this place!

Update: This Saturday was our 4th time visiting Wild Ginger and it did not disappoint! This time we tried a few new dishes. We tried the Coconut chicken which had a creamy rich sauce! We also tried the Chicken Lo mein. Both dishes were delicious! The Chicken with Broccoli is always consistently great tasting and we also ordered a Cashew chicken which was tasty! Excellent service from the staff, we always get the same friendly server and we truly appreciate her service! The staff also provided us with a complimentary ice cream dessert for my family. We travel 1 hour away to visit this location and it is always worth the distance!

It was our first time visiting. From start to finish, our experience was top notch. We were seated right away, and had a server immediately get our drink order. We ordered two appetizers that came out fast and fresh. Our sushi was a 10/10. The presentation was off the charts, with little jars with dry ice for effect. They then served us fried tempura Oreos for dessert, on the house!!! By far, the best experience we’ve ever had at a sushi restaurant. We will absolutely be back, and frequently! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have eaten sushi from the Wild Ginger many times via take out. This was the first time I have ever eaten in and I was thoroughly impressed. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was excellent. The cleanliness was excellent. The presentation of the food was excellent. You could see that all of the servers bringing the food to the tables were genuinely concerned about how each customer felt about the meal they were given. Everyone was extremely polite and welcoming. I was greeted with a smile and felt very comfortable amongst the other customers. The tone of the voices were not overbearing so you could still enjoy your meal and still hear yourself think or check your cell phone. I highly recommend the Wild Ginger to anyone looking for a relaxing place to eat and relax for lunch. Definitely an awesome experience and a place I will absolutely visit again! Excellent chicken with mixed vegetables steamed just the way I like it with brown rice. California roll made with brown rice with an awesome chilled seaweed salad. Great food!

From the outside, you would never know the deliciousness that is created within. This unassuming Asia restaurant has some of the best sushi I have had in quite some time. The presentation brought it to the next level, including dry ice in water, creating a fog that surrounded the well crafted rolls. Sushi so good I had to order one more. If you are in the area of York, PA this should be a stop for you.

Made a reservation online through Google and once we showed up, we had a table ready. Our server was very patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. We ordered the sushi dinner and kiss of fire – which both looked amazing on plate but also very delicious! Additionally we ordered tempura shrimp and general tso, they were also delicious. I initially chose this place based on the reviews and pictures shown. Oh, can’t forget the fried oreos our server gave us! I would highly recommend this place! We had a great experience. If we’re ever back in town, we’ll definitely visit again.
