Classic Nebraska fast food restaurant serving Runzas, a handheld meat pie with ground beef and cabbage. Also some of the best burgers and my favorite- frings – a combo order of onion rings and crinkle cut French fries. Only the drive through was open in their new Ogallala location for this visit.

A brand new store with a friendly staff! We hadn’t ever tried a “Runza” sandwich before, so on a friend’s recommendation, we stopped in for lunch. The mushroom and Swiss was awesome! We’ll stop in again the next time we’re I. Nebraska.

Enjoyed watching a young man receive training from an equally young lady. They were polite, attentive and precise. Our order was prepared hot to order and we loved every bite. We were passing through the area but had previously lived in Nebraska where dining on Runzas was a frequent event for our family. The delicious flavors are the same and the frings option makes it even better. Very clean restaurant.

My husband and I were there on 8/13, around noon. It’s a nice new location and Runza’s food never disappoints. Staff seemed low, the only girl at the counter taking orders did a great job considering that it was very busy in there and a line almost out the door. However, I’m assuming that they were understaffed because there weren’t any clean tables in the dining area. Music was too loud and obnoxious and there was only cold water in the bathrooms to wash hands.

Out of sodas from fountain only had 3 choices in bottles. No ranch sauce. Dining room was closed… just a lot of things that I would of liked and they were out of. The food we did receive was very good and the drive thru worker was very courteous and kind.

Food was hot. They almost forgot ranch but got that at the window before leaving drive thru to realize my wrap wasn’t in bag. Luckily wrap was worth the wait and noticed before leaving.

Worst food ever??! Just ordered two Jr. Swiss mushroom burgers and the meat was expired and all salted down and tasted disgusting?! We both got sick on the way home to Omaha#@..I will never go back to this Runza Ever again!!? Gross…

The restaurant itself needs a SERIOUS update. But the Runza was pretty tasty. The bathrooms that are supposed to be managed by Runza were out of toilet paper and was so dark.
