A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

After a long day of moving, our family went through the drive through to be served cold food. My two pieces of fish were hot but everything else, the shrimp, fries, and strips were cold and disgusting. We would’ve waited for the food to be properly prepared and served.

I wish I could give 0 stars, the restaurant is , staff is ugly ratchet and very unprofessional. The food quality is terrible. I wouldn’t suggest this location to anyone. They have boyfriends and kids walking all behind counter and all in kitchen. It’s very unsanitary. I met the owner and I honestly believe it’sa drug cover up to clean money I’ll be reporting this restaurant until they are shut down permanently

Sometimes the food can be a little bit salty as in the fish lately it hasn’t been at any location so you guys are doing better. However, the chicken always tastes horrible for some reason so I don’t buy it anymore. It tastes like a greased Patty because it’s being fried with the fish and I cannot really taste the chicken.
