I was so disappointed when we sat down at home to enjoy our food. I ordered the ghost rider, my husband the buffalo chicken and an order of fries. There was no seasoning with my ghost rider cheese steak. While there was a good portion of meat, it was dry and underwhelming. The fries were the best part of both of our meals, and it was $5 for a tiny container of fries. My experience did not live up to the reviews I’ve read. I would not return as there are a few places in the area that actually do a decent cheese steak.

I read the reviews and decided to give Ghost House a try. When I pulled up to the restaurant, Frisco Tap House was the name on the building. Once inside I was seated right away. I waited 10 minutes and was never acknowledged. It wasn’t busy, I couldn’t understand why no one came to take my order. I left…. hence, the one star. I notified the hostess of my experience in hopes of better service for the next guest.

Cheese steak was okay even if every extra toppings beyond onions and cheese was super expensive. $5 for a handful of soggy fries was not impressive. I’d get again only because there’s little options in this ghost desert of culture at Waugh Chapel for real food.

You have to pay for quality. I’m a little lactose intolerant and their cheese didn’t bother me. Get extra napkins. I would have liked more waffle fries. There was not enough to share.

The first time in got a cheesesteak here it was a solid 8/10 just a bit messy, second time a got one it was not as good and just ain’t taste the same 5/10 maybe cooks were different but I’m not paying $18 for a mystery everytime I order, plus its not a stand alone shop its located inside another kitchen.

I’m not a fan of waffle fries, but their loaded waffle fries are pretty good. The cheesesteak’s aren’t bad, but they’re charging $16.00 for an 8″ cheesesteak. I got extra meat and extra cheese on mine and it pushed the price up to $25.00. I had no idea their cheesesteaks were only 8″, otherwise I wouldn’t have ordered one. Probably won’t order from them again, simply because of their prices vs what you actually get. IHOPs cheesesteak is the same size, better and costs $11.99 w/fries!

Ordered the ghost house cheese steak and it was good but so so salty, I could barely eat half. I usually tolerate salty foods well and frequently add salt to dishes but this was too much even for someone like me. My husband said the same thing before I even commented. Will try again this time one with provolone because I believe the beer whiz is what made it so extremely salty. Other than that it was really good.
