Judy’s Kitchen’s menu is extensive, prices are reasonable, and the place looks clean. People at the counter are friendly and accommodating. We ordered beef and cheese empanadas, chipotle chicken wrap, and chorizo torta. There were a few tables so we stayed in. As we were waiting, a constant stream of people coming to pick up their orders indicated that the place is popular among locals. Our crisp empanadas were nicely stuffed and tasted very good. The actual wrap of the chipotle sandwich was preheated, which was a nice touch, it was thin and not overwhelming. The ample amount of stuffing was fresh and perfectly spiced. Chorizo torta was excellent: good bread and plenty of delicious filling. Sandwiches were a little messy to eat as they were really packed but, hey, who would complain about that. There is a nice tea/coffee counter in the back and a ledge by the window convenient for those with a computer or a book. We will definitely go back when in the area.

We took our Rutgers daughter to Judy’s for her birthday lunch. Our waiter, Angel, took extra time explaining the menu then went behind the line to prepare our food. The gentleman owner and family soon arrived and expediently served us our generously sized, very fresh and most delicious authentic real deal Mexican lunch complete with ample bowl of Pico de Gallo that Angel went beyond to whip up because we love Pico! We tried Judy’s based on Yelps favorable reviews, convenient locale to main campus and time constraints caused by traffic. Can’t wait to return on visits but our College Ave. daughter and her crew will no doubt be regulars. Trust me. Eat at Judy’s! a nod to the cute potty’s chalk board walls. Perfect for putting your good vibes out there for the next guy or gal ✌

I had the Buffalo wrap and it tasted amazing. They cook it right after you order, so you’ll have to wait a little bit but the food comes out hot fresh off the grill. It was hard to understand what the guy was saying though

Owner is super nice & welcoming. Food is good not great, especially the empanadas (although sometimes they are barely filled with meat & too dry..) But still there are decent meals available there! Great indoor seating options and owner though!
