Food was fantastic but the service was horrible. We had to get our own plates and silverware. Yes, he was by himself and it was busy, but that is no reason to ignore your customers. He never apologized once for the delay or forgetting our drinks. You definitely need to work more on hospitality.

Just came back from Italy and I still really like this place! That says a lot. Low key and really underrated and have been here multiple times. Pasta is al dente and the flavors are so well done without being heavy or overly rich. Great addition to the neighborhood.

Delicious food and warm atmosphere. Everything was incredible down to the bread with the burrata. My husband and I arrived at 7:30 on a Thursday and there werent many people there but it filled up a little later. We will definitely be back.

Barrio has the decor, pasta and wines. A little piece of Italy in East LA. Owner has a great host and pointed me into the right choice for me. We need more of this in other barrios

Wow, we.picked this place based on reviews and because it was kinda on the way from San Diego to the Lady Gaga concert at Dodger Stadium. The food rivals some of the best Italian places in SD ( no offense Barbusa). The menu is creative and delicious and the service was surprisingly personable. I will go out of my way every time I’m in LA to eat at Barrio.
