Ok if you guys have not been here for food, then you are missing out! I love the atmosphere of this restaurant, and my friend and i got a booth by the window! The server we had was super sweet, and she was very efficient! My friend said the person who sat us has been working there since she was a baby — so over 20 years!

This was a great spot to have lunch. Food and service were excellent. The dining area was uncomfortably hot though, and if there was A/C it was not running. That is a small criticism, and if you can’t take the heat, order to go.

I’ve ordered from El Pastor multiple times, and they recently catered a dinner event for me, which was fantastic. The quality of their food is consistently impressive! Great food! I had the enchilada Suiza which was absolutely delicious!! The shrimp dish was amazing!The service was great. The place is medium sized so around dinner time the tables were filling up quickly. The horchata was delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Great experience!

Awesome mole sauce! Mole (accent missing) is my wife’s favorite; I like it but rarely order it. However after trying her dish with it, I will order it the next time we are town. Wonderful family run establishment with very good food. Mexican food is so regional that favorite dishes from one region may be very different from the same dish of a different region. It ALL tasted great – large portions, well seasoned, great homemade chips, flavorful sauces. Wait staff was prompt and concerned you were enjoying the food. It is a simple restaurant, but clean and comfortable. Great value – tip well, they work hard to please you.

Unless your idea of Mexican/TexMex food is Taco Bell, you will LOVE El Pastor! I lived in Texas for 6 years and the two culinary things I miss most are the authentic Mexican food, and excellent Mojitos. Rl Pastor checks both boxes. The Chile Relleno was warm, spicy, and flavorful; the pork in the taco was flavored to perfection; and the tamale was just as I remembered it from Texas. I’m not a rice a beans girl, but those were both delicious too! Try the Salsa Arbol- so delicious!!!! Our daughter said her taco salad was “sooooooo good!” And my hubby ate his entire Bistec de Mexicano (even rice and beans and he doesn’t like those usually!) We finished our meals with Flan: and even my hubby who does not like Flan, said it was really good and went back for more than one bite!
