I tried their Al Pastor taco. If I compare this to Casa Enrique in NYC, it’s not as good. But still, it comes pretty close. The ambiance was relaxed yet classy. The service was great.

Best tacos in the area. Was overwhelmed with the vast amount of options so had quite a few items with the lovely recommendations from my waitress. The lengua tacos were so tender and melted in your mouth, with the salsa wrapping the flavors up perfectly. The Al pastor taco also was amazing, having a nice balance of flavors. Not to mention the tortillas were fresh. Also had the ceviche tostadas that were a nice appetizer to begin with. Love that it had a lot of pieces of fish in it and the avocado’s creaminess made it even more delicious. And the highlight of it all was actually the coffee horchata that was so good. They use coconut milk and as a lactose intolerant foodie that was perfect. Not a big drinks person but the cinnamon and coco combo plus the bits of coffee was undeniably delicious and it wasn’t overwhelming sweet as some places have it to be. The people serving you there are also amazing, always checking in on you and being very friendly. Love this place!

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while. I loved the food and ambiance. Everything was very tasty, probably one of the best tacos I’ve ever had but the prices are pretty high. $42 for two margaritas and one order of the brisket tacos.

Good authentic tacos in East Liberty. I sat outside, it was windy but not unbearable. Service was fast, and food was quick to come out. Prices are similar to other trendy taco places in the area. If you were here when it was a taco stand, the tacos are a bit bigger now and come two per order. For me, one order of tacos plus a small appetizer was enough.

Duo’s Taqueria surpassed all my expectations. I expected to overpay for the experience but the food justified the cost in both quality and portion size. The atmosphere was impeccable and the staff was so kind.

Loved everything about our dinner at Duo’s! The food and drinks were delicious and the space is absolutely beautiful. We had the al pastor tacos and the barbacoa de borrego and loved both. Will be back very soon to try the rest of the menu!

Got to try out Duo’s Taqueria tonight. After realizing that this was an actual restaurant and not just a taco window for Duolingo’s employees, we decided to give it try. We were far from disappointed. The dimmed restaurant/bar is a nice setting to relax in while grabbing a few bites and a brew. Greeted at the table by our waitress, we were encouraged to order in Spanish (nice way to tie in the app there duolingo lol). No worries there’s a word key on the menu, and obviously English is acceptable to order in as well. To test the waters we split 2 pairs of tacos and an order of chicharrones. The Al Pastor packed it’s sweet and spicy punches, and the Lengua (tongue) tacos were tender and delicious. Both topped on their homemade tortillas. Authentic and quality food coming out there, and the prices reflect it. Definitely suggest for a special night out with a special someone or fun night out with friends.

Prompt, friendly service! The menu has a modest variety with very reasonable prices. I loved the guacamole, pork rind, and tostadas appetizer, as well as my brisket tacos. Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Tasty desserts as well especially the chocolate tamal!
