Second time dining here—first time was over the top and wonderful. Second time was good, but more run of the mill. Service was pleasant and nice both times and will definitely make a third visit. We had bang bang shrimp and baked Brie as apps and they were delicious. Then entrees were served with bread and salads that had homemade dressings and butter that were good. I had a cut of the Thursday night prime rib special and my dining companion had the southern fried chicken. The food was good but not amazing. The prime rib was seasoned well and had great flavor but was cold. The mashed potatoes on both plates were the right texture but lacked butter and seasoning. The southern style chicken was breaded to be crispy but also lacked seasoning. Cocktails were good and overall we had a great time but it wasn’t the culinary adventure of a year prior. It’s a safe bet you will get a good meal from a friendly face here and I wouldn’t hesitate to try it.

great place to eat and hangout after a long day or hike! the building is remodeled and looks great! the staff is super friendly and the food is great! i got a juicy NY strip steak! i think Friday night is live music and these local musicians are amazing! can really sing and hit the notes and do amazing cover songs too! seems like the local hangout always packed and a good time might want to do a reservation they get pretty busy! and desert is a must take home with you! tip your servers well! locals depend on those tips!

Great food, beautiful location, amazing staff! Very much appreciated that they had a great mocktail menu. We loved the bang bang shrimp, grilled chicken sandwich, and carrot cake. Some nice vegetarian options as well! Trivia night on Thursday was packed & great live music on Friday.

What a wonderful new restaurant for the Adirondacks! The service was good the ambience was smashing and the food delicious. My dining companion enjoyed the clams and mussels puttanesca well I enjoyed the marinated apple salad with shrimp. A bit pricey, but worth the cost if not a consideration. Our dinner came to $85 before tip with one drink each, a shared appetizer and no desserts. Having local wildflowers on the table was a very nice touch.

I visited here after a funeral. They put on a delicious lunch for us. The pictures are the view while we were sitting on the upper deck. The staff and owner were absolutely great. I would highly recommend stopping in.

Stumbled upon this place for brunch- loved it! Reasonably priced, great atmosphere (an old restored lodge with great big stone fireplaces). Service was quick & friendly. Got a pot roast eggs Benedict & grapefruit Bellini, both fantastic. Big porch overlooking the lake (would be great in the summer). Will return!

Delicious chicken marsala, & other meals. Christmas decorations are beautiful. Roaring fires, lovely background music. Exceptional atmosphere. Service was terrific. Relaxing. Cocktails were great. A wonderful place in summer, but warm and inviting for the holidays & winter as well.
