My partner randomly picked this as our place to stop and eat as we were passing through this town and we were pleasantly surprised. The whole place is very clean and neat and the food is delicious and came very quickly. The staff was welcoming and happy to chat with us. It was a great experience. The only “issue” we had was not really even an issue, we first thought they were closed because the “open” sign out front wasn’t on.

Our first visit,the service was good, the food was ok,but the flys are out of control,they where flying around everywhere. We had to wave them away from our food,and our face. The waitress even said They know they just can’t seem to get ride of them. The outside dining probably has less bugs.

Great food! Great service. Ample amounts of seating indoor and outdoor. Really nice bar and a nice local and out of town crowd. Their new patio looks like a great option also! I haven’t utilized that yet but I’m sure it’s nice. Their kitchen staff is well versed also. Joe is the man with the plan back there!

Post hike meal. Deep Fried pickle, Town Fool Burger, both were great. The bathroom was really clean and our server was great with a fantastic personality. If I’m ever in this part of Pennsylvania I would definitely stop by again.

Standard style Tavern with small town charm. Food is good and reasonably priced with the building being upgraded as I type this. Only hitch I bumped into is when it gets busy the waitress is a bit more scarce so make sure you know what you want when she comes back. All in all I’d recommend it.
