Worst Chipotle we’ve been to across the country. Food was good, service was poor. Chips were stale. The first employee spit into the trash can next to him as he was dishing our food. When we got to the register, it took a bit of time to figure out which of the FIVE employees could ring us up. Finally a young woman came in from the lobby to check us out. She gave me my total before I could even add drinks. Afterward I stated we were short one cup to which she replied she hadn’t charged us. There was a lot of miscommunication and felt like all the employees were doing anything but serving customers. Bummer.

So great! I have celiac disease and appreciated the fact that there was a dedicated worker who understood gluten free and cross contamination ( though there will always be that risk) he washed all of that utensils and used freshly prepped cats of food to ensure the risk of exposure to gluten was as minimal as possible- just so kind and didn’t make me feel like it was an inconvenience at all…I’m so grateful for the attention to detail and courteous manner in which everyone acted …thanks! We will be back for sure!

Chipotle is one of my favorite “fast food” places, but out of the many I’ve eaten at in several different states/cities, Sioux City has the best food hands down. Never had a bad experience with food or service there EVER.

Been years since I’ve tried here. Was ok. Seemed over staffed and people goofing around more than working. But, I’d rather have that than some poor understaffed crew. Considering the heavy crew, I had to look around for a table that was clean. Many had not been tended to recently. Men’s bathroom was out of order, so everyone was limited to one restroom. It’s only a single person restroom, so it’s manageable. Restroom could have been a legit problem that they were waiting on a plumber for. Food seemed somewhat bland to me. Not just in general, but putting it up against places like Pancheros and Qdoba. Some of their items were also extra money to add, where it’s not at others. Once I got the burrito in my hands, it felt loose and not very firm. Had a tendency to want to fall apart as a result. Other places, they wrap them fairly tight, and they hold their formation better without falling apart, not to mention you get a better deal by having more food included in them. Most the time when I’m in this area, I pick other places. I think I’ll continue to do so, as I would rather eat at the other 2 mentioned above anyhow if I was in the mood for something like this. I’m sure they do a good job for some, but didn’t really trip my trigger, and there’s a lot of options to choose from. Add to the not so great experience, and I just won’t be excited to give it another try.

Pains me to leave a one star. Asked for queso and got a half a scoop. When I asked if could get some more he said it would cost extra. I said never mind because I didn’t want to argue over cheese. Guy behind me in line got plenty of queso on his bowl though!

She was rude immediately going in, they’re queso was chunky they filled the bag for chips with like ten. And paid for a Large. I ordered for a company group and was grabbing silverware. She said do u need more than a couple forks. I said yeah and she said well I guess I’ll have to refill it. There was more but ill leave it at that.

I’m a recently diagnosed celiac and I have not gone out to eat in TWO months because of how afraid I am of cross contamination and the lack of gluten free places. I read Chipotle was an okay place to go as a celiac. I hate being an inconvenience and almost walked out because of my anxiety but my sister convinced me to try it out. I started out with mentioning I had celiac and I was handed over to who I assume was a manager on duty. Sure, it’s their job to follow protocol etc BUT this worker made eye contact, smiled, asked questions and began to explain the process. Asked what toppings I wanted and he removed the serving spoons which he took to the back to wash and the rest of the workers changed gloves. This worker (I wish I could’ve gotten his name!! He was thinner, beard, black hair, and gray/green eyes?) made me feel taken care of and I would be lying if I didn’t shed a little tear as soon as I sat down lol. Celiac has been hell in navigating but this place gave me hope. I just hope I get the same experience the next time I go! Because I will be going back. Thank you so much!!!
