We had Our Wedding at Michael’s Restaurant and Lounge in 2019 and go back every Year for Our Anniversary! Service is wonderful. My Husband got pork chops on a recommendation from a member of the staff. They happen to be two of the biggest pork chops I’ve ever seen. The food is always Wonderful and they even cook some dishes tableside like Our favorite Bananas Foster. Mmmm!!

My family has been coming to enjoy the food at Michael’s for years, even since my parents were kids. The food is always outstanding, tableside freshly made caesar is a must. I order from the section of menu that is prepared at the table. I highly recommended the steak Diane, the meat is so tender it melts in your mouth and the juice of the dish is so good I could drink it lol. Michael Sr. Is truly a talented man and still after many years, he has not lost his magic touch in the culinary field. Not to mention the owner, family, and staff are wonderful and caring people. Love it here, it is an absolute hidden gem.

They won’t have to worry about regular customers since this place will likely host every funeral wake, courthouse wedding reception and high school reunion for the classes 1960 – 1998 for the foreseeable future. Meh food, good service, outdated Don Corleone vibe. At least the lighting is low and liquor strong so the eminently forgettable atmosphere will fade more quickly into obscurity.

First time here; very nice staff. Reviews were very strong so was slightly disappointed. Ordered Meat Tortellini Bolognese; taste was good but little to no bolognese on the tortellini and the portion size was exceptionally small. It appeared to be a marinara instead of a bolognese. It was a take out so maybe dine in is better. Staff packed the orders well.

Had an amazing dinner last night…from the well crafted vodkas martinis to the tableside Ceasar salad and steak Diane Marsala, everything was superb. We even shared an order of their homemade gnocchi and then capped the evening with a bananas flambeau. Hats off to owner and master chef Michael and his staff.

My friends and I have been going to Michaels for YEARS!! Even supported the restaurant during covid when business was super slow! We dined there tonight– was accused of not leaving a tip the last time we were there. I know this is not true and was highly insulted. I inquired why a 20% tip was added to our check, which they never did in all the years we ate there. Also, the server made it a point to let us know that a tip was added. Finding this to be strange and uncharacteristic, I observed the other tables around us and noticed that she did not indicate that the tip was added to their checks. Given that a tip was not added to the checks to the tables around us, I asked the server why a tip was added to our check and not to the tables around us. She indicated that she remembered us– we did not tip her a few months ago. I asked to speak to the manager (Michael’s son)—of course he was going to support his server he indicated that a tip was not added. We always leave cash tips to benefit the server! I find this to be insulting, discriminatory, and racial profiling. Why are they adding tips to some customers and not others?? We definitely will not be back. I have reached out to some of my legal minded friends to inquire about the discrimination I experienced tonight at Michael’s.

Absolutely love this place. Real old school Italian feel. Laid back and chill environment. Food is amazing and never disappointed. The blonde waitress was killing it being the only waitress while Michael cooked up amazing food like always. Never been disappointed yet!!
