My partner and I ordered the grilled pork Banh Mi, shrimp spring rolls and the the grill pork noodle salad. The bread used for the banh mi was excellent; the outside was crispy but not too hard and the inside was nice and moist. The meat and vegetables in the sandwich was quite generous and the ratio of the two was spot on — it felt well balanced. Spring rolls were paired with a nice peanut sauce which tasted quite nice. The restaurant itself was not the largest but when we went, we were the only party there. Would definitely return

So excited to have this place in Orinda! We ordered the shrimp rolls which were full of tasty shrimp and fresh crispy veggies, served with a peanut sauce that was also very nice. We got the pork banh mi: the meat was well seasoned and again it was loaded with fresh crunchy vegetables. Had a kick to it, too; which I love. Only regret there is that they do not offer a sardine banh mi, which is my go-to. All in all we loved it and will be back for sure.

This Vietnamese restaurant is such a great addition to Orinda and lifts the food scene up another notch. I love their soup and also their chicken noddle salad. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu!

My husband and I stopped by at lunchtime today to order to-go for the first time. A friend of ours recommended it to us. It was delicious! We ordered the #12 – Heo nướng xả (Grilled Pork) fresh rolls, #2 – Heo nướng sả (Grilled Pork Bánh Mì) and #4 – Heo xíu ngũ vị hương (Hội An 5-Spice Pork). Everything tasted so fresh and was really really tasty! I ordered a Thai Iced Tea which was perfect and my husband ordered Vietnamese Coffee (hot) and he really enjoyed it!

I’m so glad there’s finally a great banh mi place here in Lamorinda! I’ve been going to their location in Walnut Creek for awhile and was so excited they opened one in Orinda close to my house! Everything they make is so fresh-tasting and delicious. We’ve tried the grilled pork, 5-spice pork, and grilled chicken banh mi. The pork ones are our favorite. The meat is tender and flavorful. The bread tastes fresh and has that great outer crunch but soft inside. I really enjoy their noodle salad because it’s so refreshing with the fresh mint and veggies. I also got a Thai iced tea, and it was good. It really hits the spot when I’m craving Vietnamese food. Everything they have would be great for a picnic. Looking forward to coming back and trying the rest of their menu!
