We stopped here in our way home. A really fun spot with a lot of crazy decor. I had the brisket, greens, and Mac and cheese. All were amazing! The greens were spicy, the Mac and cheese was creamy and the brisket was incredible! It pulled apart and was very tender! I sampled the ribs and those were delicious! Highly recommend stopping here and checking this place out!!

This place is the definition of a “joint” and that’s not bad. This is my second and immediate visit back to this fabulous place after hopping off the plane. I’m not one to avoid the Ritz Carlton but I’m also not so far from the farm that a rustic setting would put me off from the most delicious unique BBQ joint I have ever had the pleasure of attending.

We thought the food was delicious. The meat had a great smoke flavor and all of our meat was tender and juicy, nothing was over cooked or dry like you occasionally see with smoking. The sauce was great, we had original, the flavor was great. The brisket and chicken were both awesome, you could see the difference in the jumbo size and regular size plates. Lots of drink options, it’s all self service. Other than the person that brings out your meal, which comes out quickly, you do it yourself. The place is fairly large and has picnic tables. Music is playing or the have a band, both is great. Lots of interesting decorations throughout and outside the restaurant is also adorned with many unusual decorations from repurposed items. It was a great spot, I’m interested in going back during crawfish season they have a shed just for that. Will be back here again for sure.

What we have here is a destination place, this is the BBQ Disney World. Outrageous smoked BBQ meats with off-the-hook sides, yes that’s what this place is putting out. We enjoyed some excellent ribs and brisket with perfect smoke and cook. The grandma good greens are just that and the mac n cheese was close to grandma goodness. I’m going to attempt to tell you about this place, we parked and walked to the door when an airboat and two jet skis pull up at the dock out back and then 10 motorcycles roll in the parking lot, short of a helicopter landing on the roof that’s this place. See attached photos and stop for yourself you will be glad you did.

Hard to believe that people actually think this is good BBQ. Maybe we just had a bad day. Went in October of 2022 on the way back from the Gulf Shores of Alabama. Sauces way too sweet. Sides just OK. Saw the Shed owners on a YouTube video of Memphis in May. Reminded me to write this review. I don’t understand how someone makes such winnings at BBQ competitions, yet serves mediocre BBQ at their brick and mortar.

The last time I was here was in 2011 and my has it grown! As for the food, it was pretty tasty! I ordered the combo plate which included two proteins and two sides; I had brisket, pulled pork, potato salad, and greens. Both proteins were pretty good but a bit too saucy for my liking. Next time I’ll ask for light sauce or maybe just on the side. The sauce was a bit overpowering and didn’t let the meat shine through. The sides were also tasty and the green had a nice spicy kick to them! Additionally, I ordered banana pudding to go, and wow! That’s one of the best I’ve had in a long time! Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a good BBQ.
