The Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was great. I enjoyed the Texas toast being thick and able to hold the juices together without being soggy. The steak was thin sliced, cooked in the cheese, peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Great flavor! The host and the waitress greeted us and asked how we were doing. The folks in the restaurant were all enjoying themselves and carrying conversations. Those things told me I was in a comfortable place. There was an invite to a local church at the door which made me feel like maybe I am breaking bread among brothers and sisters.

Love this place. The food is great, always fresh. Chicken fried steak and onion rings are my favorite things, but I have not had anything that I didn’t like. Sometimes we have to wait for a table, but not for long and it’s worth the wait. If you’re in the mood for home cooking/diner type food, check out R & K.

Favorite of the 2 RK locations on Fort Worth Hwy. Always good service, go to spot for country style home cooking the way my Mom and Granny did it. Food’s consistently good, and the slabs of pie put me in a coma before I get to the news, which is probably a good thing. Chicken Fried Steak, Liver & Onions, All You Can Eat Catfish, Shrimp Galore. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

This is my go to breakfast every weekend. I always order pancakes and bacon well done, eggs over easy. My husband always orders omelet with grits, and my kids love the French toast, It is always delicious. One thing you need to know is if you eat scrambled eggs, they tend to cook them well done. My daughter orders her scrambled eggs soft and they are much better that way. The service is always good with constant coffee refills. KiKi is my favorite waitress!

The food here never disappoints, everything is awesome! The biscuits are the best around the are fluffy and not dry. They do run out around lunch time though so get them early. I come alot and always get good service but wanted to give a special shout out, I had the best experience today! I am pregnant and had my heart set on biscuits but they were out, our sweet waitress Juls got the cook to get me some it made my day and all the food was exceptionally good today. The service was amazing, which is harder to come by these days.
