The food is overall okay. Sweet potatoes are delicious. As well as the pork chops in brown sauce. The green beans taste very plain. The jerk chicken was good and the rice was a little dry. Coleslaw was gross though. The peach cobbler was good as long as it was hot. Once it cooled it was not a good texture. I’d order again from there but would stick to certain foods. They also ran out of food items a few times when called. I guess a hit or miss with this one.

The business has gone thru a period of transition with employees, vendors, and the pandemic. At this point, they are setled in all these areas and deliver a consistent quality product. My favorites are the chicken wings (cut and fried in halves), chicken empanadas, and the collard greens. They currently offer a lunch special that I haven’t found to be unmatched in this area. About $10 for a protein with fries and rice. I highly recommend this establishment!

I decided to try this spot for dinner. I ordered my meal online. I ordered the bbq chicken with a side of rice and string beans. It came to close to $13. When I arrived I parking in the plaza parking lot. I walked into a small bbq joint. My food was ready and the man handed me my meal and I left. When I got home I dug in. The bbq chicken was tasty and moist. There were 2 different rice sides. Had I known that I would of ordered corn bread instead. The yellow rice was better than the rice and beans. The string beans were ok, just needed more seasoning. All in all I had a decent experience.

Everything was AMAZING. I was in town from Illinois for work and new I had to order from here when I saw it. The service was great, and the food was delicious. I had the jerk chicken, collard greens, mac and cheese, and the cobbler. Do not pass this place up!!

I’ve eaten at this place before and never had any bad experiences until recently. Me and my sister had order the fried chicken and a few sides. Well I think my sister’s order was cooked better than mine because me and my kids ended up sick and vomiting for days. I won’t be ordering from here again.
