Jimmy’s Place in Forest Park is a great place to get awesome Italian food! Casual fun family restaurant and great thin crust pizza. We came in with a group of seven pple late on a Saturday night, and we were happy to be able to have a great meal, and great service. The chicken parmesan was fantastic and all the entrees we got were great.

We hosted a baby shower in the party room at Jimmy’s Place. Jimmy and the staff were extremely accommodating and easy to work with. They allowed us to come early and set up decorations and helped set up the space for what we wanted. We added a few extra appetizers and an open bar to the basic package and it was a great value for the quality. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Guests were very impressed with the calamari, pizza, and handmade pasta. The desserts were SO good. The staff packed up leftovers so guests could take them on their way out. The whole team did a great job at helping us make a customized family event memorable and with as little stress as possible.

I would of gave 5 stars but because of lack of communication I didn’t. This is the 1st place I’ve been to where the soda refills weren’t free. Usually at restaurants they tell you up front that there are no free refills or it’s on the menu . Over 25% of our $200+ bill was sodas. Besides that the pizza was really good and their Ceasar salad was one of the best I’ve had. This was our 1st visit and probably last.

Good place for dinner. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. There were a couple little things that were a little off, such as the angel hair pasta was a bit overcooked along with the chicken, and the pizza was a bit bland. However, the service was friendly and really personable, you can tell that a lot of the locals eat here. The ambiance is relaxing and the portions are huge.

I don’t review places often but the experience we had with this establishment AND the owner himself (Jimmy) was so abhorrent that a review was necessary if only to prevent future groups from experiencing the same situation. After being quoted a specific price per person for a 10 yr old girls soccer team outing, we were charged an additional $205 over the contracted rate. We have spent our valuable time trying to coordinate with Jimmy on the refund and he keeps putting us off and saying “he’ll do it tomorrow.” Total B.S…! Don’t waste your time and money supporting this joint. Also, the food isn’t even worth it.

Let me start this off by saying that the pizza was absolutely amazing! Perfect amount of cheese, sauce, and pizza dough! The spaghetti had the perfect amount of sauce. I definitely saw they were short staffed but this whole world is short staff and apart from that we got service fast and sufficient. Definitely going to return for the pizza!

Very good restaurant… We’re looking for a good local restaurant and others didn’t look very family friendly lol. We tried here (they had vacant outdoor seating) and it was very tasty. Apparently, none of us were very hungry and we had tons of leftovers.
