Responding to the last review, if you weren’t so rude and let your server explain the menu and what you could order you would have had bread sooner than you had it. we tried to offer you the catfish poboy plain just catfish fries and bread and you denied. So we provided the catfish basket like you requested. However we try to strive for excellent customer service that’s why we did accommodate you for your bread.Learn how to have respect for anyone and you will receive it back and still have a bless day sir. This is my absolute favorite spot for seafood. The sauce from other places just doesn’t compare. My waitress had red locs and was very friendly. I also got a drink which was pretty strong. Always a good time and good food when I come and will be back. Btw I had the shrimp and mussels (1LB) with the medium rocking crab special added egg and sausage and a side of steamed rice for the sauce.

Me and my wife visited rocking crab on Blanding next to Chipotle today server Megan and manager Krystal told me that I could not buy bread with my catfish sandwich and when I meet the manager she was loud and rude there are lots of crab restaurants in orange park and jacksonville where they treat you with respect when spending your hard earned money. I would never hire a manager that doesn’t understand customer service because that will trickle down to all the other employees. Why can’t I buy food at a restaurant?

Went in one day to try the oysters and now I’m hooked. The seafood broils are good with nice portions and the salads are very fresh. Now the drinks…. Good.. good … good! The restaurant has a full service bar but the drink menu has a nice selection of interesting drinks as well. I’ve been twice and the staff was very nice and personable each time!

The food was very fresh and tasted delicious! This was my first time going and it did not disappoint. Prepare to get your hands dirty! Only thing I would choose differently is the seasoning. Instead of the spicy Cajun seasoning, I’d probably go with garlic butter lol. My mom and I split an order of 1lb snow crab legs and .5lb of shrimp with four potatoes instead of corn. It was definitely enough food for the both of us!

Best crab spot I’ve been to EVER! Gotta try the Cilantro Lime sauce, nothing in the world like it and I could eat it over and over again. The hours do vary, so call before you get there, especially if it’s anytime after 9. Speedy service, moderate pricing, good portions and good quality of food.
