Amazing experience! My daughter ordered the pasta fresca and loved it. She scored it a million out of 10. The mom’s meatloaf was also good. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The server was very attentive as well. We will be coming back for sure.

This is my first time here. The breakfast buffet was good. However, with my happy hour experience I must say the food is average. Drinks were great but the fries were soggy with grease. You can tell that the fryer oil was not hot enough when they put the fries in. The french onion soup was excellent but the creamy crab soup was luke warm if that and there were a lot of crab shells in the soup. The grilled cheese sandwich was probably the best thing out of all the food we tried. It had a crunchy buttered exterior with a cheesy center. The service from the waiters and waitresses was good but could have been better. I wasn’t offered a kids menu until after I sent the fries back because I didn’t want my three year old to eat the oily fries. I may come back I may not. Average!!

French onion soup was salty to the point I couldnt eat it. Margherita flat bread was ok, no fresh mozzarella is kinda weird for that dish. Lettuce wraps were good but when use mayploy sweet Thai chili, it’s always good. Girlfriend really enjoyed her fried shrimp basket. The French fries were very good. U can tell when someone properly cuts and Blanches fries.

You never know how good a place is until you try it. Well we know Fenderz is bad. It is most definitely hotel food. Burger test, huge fail. You ask how I want my burger. Grey is not medium rare. But I understand you can’t make a thin McDonalds burger medium rare. But at least McDonalds burgers have flavor. I should have stayed with the chips that came with the burger. $3 up charge for a hand full of fries that were barely warm. My wife got the Parmesan Chicken bowl. Came out very quick. But when you push 3 minutes on the microwave it will come out quick. Only thing that was good was the onion rings we had. Would have been great if they cut back on batter. They were onion donuts, not onion rings. Avoid this place if you can.

Food was good. Service was very slow and our server would disappear for long periods of time, she was nowhere in the dining room, so we would have to ask the other server for drink refills while we waited. Took a little over 1-1/2 hours for two smash burger specials. The prices seemed high, even for this economy; except in the special we ordered, which seemed like a good price. This was our first time there in many years and we were not staying at the hotel. We are locals and as locals, there isn’t much of a reason to eat here as there are better run and cheaper options in York.
