Wonderful meal at Baxter’s! Service was excellent, Kendall had great recommendations. Hubby had the fish & chips which he said were very good. I had the cajun chicken pasta which was delicious. Just wish it was served with a breadstick to dip in the sauce. Nice atmosphere, not too loud. Can’t wait to came back!

Don’t waste your time. In town for a meeting and decided to try it out. Other people that walked in just ahead of me in larger groups had no issues getting a table. I was alone and rather than being asked to sit at the bar or something the hostess immediately said hang on and went to talk to another hostess and then came to tell me I would have to wait at least 15 minutes. I worked in good service for years, I could tell they just didn’t want to seat me because I wasn’t part of a larger group. There were plenty of empty tables and seats so that was not the issue. It’s well over 100 degrees and I chose to walk my (noticeably) pregnant self to this restaurant because it had a lot of good reviews and was near my meeting location, with only 1 hour for lunch I thought it would be a good choice but was proven wrong!

Food was wonderful! Got a variety of beef and each had a darn good unique flavor. Sides, bread and sauces were great also. Try the taco. This was my first time and sure will be back again!

This place has excellent hamburgers. I usually get the House Burger (mushroom and swiss). The Ranch Burger and Theta Burgers are awesome as well. I have not been here for dinner. Baxter’s is an overlooked gem.

The food was good, the service not so much. I understand it’s a dinner and it was a pretty busy time, but they didn’t really check up, others got their food before me even though I ordered much before. The staff was friendly, it was just the customer service level, still worth it for the price. Lol

The dinner crowd was lively on the evening I visited Baxter’s. The house burger was a half pound of beef with lots of mushrooms and swiss and it was delicious. The mixed salad greens were fresh and the vinaigrette was flavorful. This is a good choice for dinner if you’re in the convention center area of downtown Tulsa.
